Caz is looking for two things: the perfect breakfast and men who think they’re above the law. He hasn’t yet found a breakfast to match what his mom used to make, but there’s a trail of dead men behind him that shows he’s having no trouble finding bad men.
Caz is the self-appointed judge and jury, operating outside the law, tracking down those who the law can’t find. And when he does find them, which he will, there is only one sentence.

Award-winning and best-selling Western author Scott Harris is a lifelong Western enthusiast who traces his love of Western fiction back to his childhood days of reading Louis L’Amour novels.
Harris has published ten novels in the past year, along with two collections of short stories and a variety of other fiction and nonfiction Westerns.
The Brock Clemons Western Series follows the tale of Brock Clemons and his journey into the West accompanied by his horse, “Horse,” and wolf, “Wolf.” The Brock Clemons story — especially when he is joined by his new wife, Sophie and his adopted son, Huck — is one of bravery, adventure and romance, transporting readers back to a time when chivalry, courage and gunfights ruled the day in the West.
Harris’ second series, Caz: Vigilante Hunter, is a different take on the Western genre. With gun in hand, Caz blasts his way through the bad guys to bring peace and justice to the Old West!
Caz is looking for two things: the perfect breakfast and men who think they’re above the law. He hasn’t yet found a breakfast to match what his mom used to make, but there’s a trail of dead men behind him that shows he’s having no trouble finding bad men.
Harris also authors the well regarded 52 Weeks Series, the Western Adventure Series and the 500 Word Micro Short Series. Additionally, he is about to release A Novel Journey, a non-fiction book about writing your own Western novel and recently released Six Gun Pardners, a book a he co-authored with his son, Justin. He is also soon releasing the first novel in his newest series, Stagecoach Willy.
Harris, who loves nothing more (except for his family!) than settling into his hammock with a glass of bourbon, a cigar and a great Western, has created a Western world filled with fascinating and exciting characters and he hopes you enjoy reading about them as much as he does writing about them.
This fast paced and compelling short novel tells the story of Caz, a compassionate bounty hunter, who finds himself in a violent battle with an saloon owner and his team of outlaws when he uncovers forced prostitution in the establishment. Caz is an interesting character and is complemented by a strong supporting cast that included Bess, a young reluctant prostitute, and Etta, a feisty boarding house owner. I liked this novel at lot and am looking forward to reading the further adventures of Caz.
This Western Story is good! It has a lot of action! But it also deals with emotions ... Good & Bad! I enjoyed this story very much! This Book is worth your time to read & also worth the purchase price!
Somehow I missed this book, as it was in clouding it is as good as the other Car books. Belie when I say he is running full bite from beginning to end. If you live action, then you need to buy all of the Caz books, but please read them in order. They are Stan alone books, please, read them in order. Caz is not too much on talking, but is surely great on settling things immediately.
Definitely another five star story that starts fast and ends with excitement. As I said previously Caz is a man of few words, but his pistols talks a lot, and very fast. This book, although it is the first of a series, is very profound in the fact the good guys are very good and the bad guys are definitely representative of their assigned roles. No In between, when the action darts it just reaches out and grabs the reader immediately. In have been a long time can of Mr. Scott Harris and fortunately, every novel of his I have read are definitely worthy of the time spent. Never read a bad story he has written. HIs storytelling is superb, and some are very heartwarming from beginning to end. This series is definitely one that grand your attention immediately and does not release you until the final paragraph! Mr. Harris does his homework before striking the first key, and his full intent is to entertain his readers. Which he does well! Based on what I have previously stated about the books, an the author,c you have probably already decided I would recommend this book, as well as the series, but in case you aren't convo to read these books; Believe me, such failure would definitely be a literary disaster. Not reading it would definitely be a disaster.
Caz minding his business enjoying his bacon and fluffy biscuits with gravy so thick, you cut it with a knife..eatum-up Caz. So in reality his real reason is the man standing at the door who looked as though he's never heard of water, info lying to drink..Caz in this short fast acting novella is a man who never underestimate the people he meets in his travels. Rough blood letting men who haven't any moral ethics. Nothing is to low for the men Caz hunts. Another great novella describing the perils of the west.
Well, it was a fantastic read, and I had to go back and read the first chapter again to have the great, deep feeling intended at the end. I had no clue what was coming up and how it all tied in everything. Caz is certainly a vigilante hunter and the author definitely titled this book correctly. Wham, bam the deed is done and the terrible person gets his pay back. Caz certainly has no hesitation in taking out the bad guy. Kind of violent but they deserve it. He is a rescuer of girls and women. Love his values.
I must say I have really enjoyed this book on Caz, I enjoyed how he respects the ladies and doesn’t, take advantage of them. I will be reading more of the books by this author. Thank you Scott Harris for a truly great read.
Wow. Can is who I wish I were! He knows what is right and he knows what he has to do even though he had rather not have to do it. Let the evil lie where they fall (ell, not really) and lead the world just that much safer.
