Best book of the series and that's saying a lot because I've loved all the books so far. If I could I'd give this book a 10* rating I would of.
Lydia and Jason have been together through the the series and I've been waiting for them to finally tie the knot. There was so many emotions in the book. The loss of Lydia's sister was heartbreaking for her and her parents. It's hard to lose a sibling and I think Ms. D'Alba did an wonderful job with the emotional breakdowns. Brought back many memories fr

The last book in the Texas Montgomery Maverick's series. What a great read! I started out with tears in my eyes and then went straight to being happy. A range of emotions in this book keeps you glued to your seat anticipating each page. Jason & Lydia's story is finally told as this series comes to an end. The ups & downs of their relationship and the surprises in store for them both are heart wrenching. Cynthia has weaved previous events into this and has taken us back to places we've be ...more

Loved this whole series. This book was a tear jerker with all the ups and downs. But love has to conquer all. The feelings of grief and suddenly having a family you were not expecting has to be very hard. The sweetness of the children made the book so sweet.
This is my first book in this series and I have to be honest when starting I was a little lost. Some books in a series can be read as a standalone but some can't and I found this one was like that for me.

From what I gathered Jason and Lydia have been a couple since the beginning of this series and are finally going to tie the knot. Since I'm new to this series I missed out when they met and started dating so I didn't feel like I was getting to know the characters like I normally would have but

I have been lucky enough to read and review all the books in this series and hated to see it end. Throughout the series i have followed Jason Montgomery and Lydia Henson's relationship. Just on the cusp of their wedding tragedy strikes when a terrible accident in Lydia's family hands her 3 small children. Thrust into motherhood she never thought she would experience she has to juggle her grief along with the kids to find her way to her new normal. Jason has always told anyone who brought it up h ...more

Author Cynthia D’Alba has another winner with Texas Lullaby, the seventh and final book in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks series. The first two chapters are very emotional, which quickly drew me into this heartfelt and powerful read. Each book focuses on the love life of a member of the Montgomery family. This is the love story between attorney Jason Montgomery, the oldest of the four Montgomery siblings, and Dr. Lydia Henson, one of the small town's family physicians. Jason and Lydia have been ...more

The final installment of the Texas Montgomery Mavericks focuses on the story of Jason Montgomery and Dr. Lydia Henson but also visits with some of the other Montgomerys from earlier stories. It is best to have read the earlier stories, but you can read this one on its own.

Jason and Lydia have been engaged for several years and they both remember the day that they met each other in the hospital emergency room ten years ago. On the eve of their anticipated wedding, they receive shattering news and

The last book of the Texas Montgomery series. I absolutely loved it and so hated to see the end of this wonderful series. Lydia and Jason have been together throughout the series. They are finally getting married. But, on the eve of their wedding, Lydia's sister and her husband are killed in a tragic accident. Since Jason had always said no kids, Lydia didn't think they would have a future after she took in her sister's three kids. Can they get by their issues and have their happily ever after.

Cynthia D'Alba saved the best for last. I love the Montana Mavericks series but this last book is definitely my favorite.

Jason and Lydia have been an item all through this series and now they're finally ready to make it legal. Then tragedy strikes and changes their lives forever and drags Jason's secret out to nearly tear them apart.

This story was a mixture of emotions. There was so much sadness, and heartfelt love, and real struggles and frustrations.

This book was a fabulous read that I truly

This is the fourth and last book in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks, and the first book I've read by this author. I must say after finishing this story I've found that I really want to read the first three books in the series.

Lydia and Jason have been seen throughout the first three books and now have their story...Ms D'Alba has done a wonderful job of tying up the series, bring other events from the previous books into this story and leaving the reader with a final that was nicely done.

I don't even know what to really say! I can't really go into much of a review with out giving spoiler, which I won't do. But I can tell you that you will love this book! The heartfelt plot of this story and how easy you find yourself escaping reality into this amazing book! You will want to make sure you read this book before this year is gone!

This might be my favorite book of the series. Lots of tension, emotion, non-communication to be resolved. Not a spoiler but I loved the ending.

I wanted to like this story, but Jason really really really pissed me off. He lied!!
Am I the only one that is disgusted by his treatment of Lydia? Honestly he lied to her for four years, then forced her to make a decision no woman should ever have to make.... all for the sake of his pride?
And worse she accepted it, yes they parted in the past and then got back together, but if a man puts that kind of restriction on a woman then how can she ever believe he loved her? You don't force restriction

I loved this book!! It was my first one in the series but I think I can go back and read the others without too many spoilers. When Lydia’s sister and brother-in-law die on their way to her wedding, Lydia is suddenly in charge of her twin 3 year old nieces and 9 month old nephew. The only problem? Her fiancé Jason has sworn he doesn’t want kids since the day they started dating.

This book rigged at my heart in so many ways. She’s a new mom, which is hard enough, but twin 3 year olds?!? That’s a

This is only the second book in this series that I've read, and that was about a year ago, and I've read tons of books since. So it wasn't a surprise to me when I didn't recognize the cast and crew of the huge Montgomery family, nor the endearing residents of Whispering Springs. But I soon fell in love with them, and look forward to going back and reading the rest of this series. Not that I needed to have read them to keep up. Texas Lullaby stands alone just fine. It's the characters themselves ...more

I love Jason and Lydia. They were finally getting married after what is in Jason's family a long engagement. Unfortunately on the way to the wedding Lydia's sister and her family are in a tragic accident. Through the tears in my eyes I experienced all the emotional turmoil with Lydia and her parents. With the wedding postponed, decisions have to be made as Meridith's three children become Lydia's.

Jason never wanted children or that's what he's convinced everyone and himself. He has a secret ther

Lydia and Jason were set to get married when all hell breaks loose. Lydia becomes the guardian of her sisters 3 kids. Lydia is overwhelmed. Jason is trying to give her time to adjust. Only he is falling in love with the kids. Yet Lydia is remembering all the conversations she had with Jason about not wanting kids. So she does what she thinks is best. Jason is miserable and so is Lydia. Thankfully the Montgomery family has other plans. Loved the ending.

Just recently purchased and read this book. I don't know how I missed it because I have all the other books in this series and love the Montgomery family. It has such a heartbreaking beginning, but becomes a wonderful loving story by the end. I recommend this series to anyone who likes to read romance stories.

Lydia is my very strong woman and you will see why as the story unfolds. You might need tissues for this one. Lydia has agreed with Jason that there will be no children in their marriage. Jason has a big secret and he plans to not share it with Lydia or anyone else. I enjoyed this story even with the sadness.

I should begin by disclosing that I have not read any of the previous books in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks series. While I wouldn’t generally sign up to review a book this far into the series, much less the final book in a series, there was just something about the blurb for Texas Lullaby that called to me and I was unable to turn it down. That said, I had zero issues with following the storyline as it quickly became clear that this installment was focused on Lydia and Jason, and while they m ...more

Texas Lullaby by Cynthia D’Alba is another enthralling addition to the delightful Texas Montgomery Mavericks series. This final installment in the series is heartwarming and fans will be thrilled to see Jason Montgomery and Lydia Henson finally get their happily ever after.

Jason and Lydia have weathered many ups and downs over the course of their long relationship but just as they are on the verge of marriage, tragedy strikes. Overwhelmed and grieving, Lydia is now the guardian of thre

The love and emotion that the author is trying to convey to the reader comes through on the onset of reading this book. Your emotions are peaked and the roller coaster is an endless peak and valley, of love and sadness right off. So be prepared for a few tears.
When Dr. Lydia Henson was a resident she was working at the hospital where Jason Montgomery was brought in after a car accident. Although he recovered from the accident something happened to that 20 year old Jason that would affect him t

Odd coincidence: this is the second book I read this week that was a series first for me but actually the last in the series. The good news? This one did a much better job of working well as a standalone. Even though we're starting the story with a four-year engagement (and an even older relationship), I didn't feel at all lost at the beginning. (I'll admit, though, that the Montgomery family tree was a big help in keeping everyone straight!) The "bad" news? Once again, my TBR pile has grown by ...more

This is book 7 and the final book in the Texas Montgomery Mavericks series and it features Jason Montgomery and Lydia Hensen. Talk about going out with a BANG! This story is the last and the best in the series! Lydia's family's situation is tragic and very difficult to deal with. Something like that changes everyone's lives. I could see both Lydia's and Jason's point of views through it all. Communication is key and that's one thing they weren't doing very well. It never works when you start mak ...more

Born and raised in Arkansas. After wandering the world for 17 years (okay, it was Memphis, but it felt like another world!), I've made it home again. I live in a small vine covered cottage on the shores of a 8,000 acre lake with 2 dogs, a bitchy parrot and my fisherman husband. Live is good.
