Hey, it’s me. The girl who went to a rock show, had too much to drink and… you know the rest.
Or maybe not. I’m an attention seeker, right? That’s what you think. That I must have done something to warrant this happening to me…

Ambra
Finding out the truth about what happened that night almost killed me. Literally.
With almost no-one left on my side, how am I supposed to pi

This is the second book in the series and Hear what you want needs to be read first. It would also be beneficial to read the Razes Hell series first.

So in the first book Ambra attends a rock show with her best friend. She’s a photographer and is invited to join the band after the show.

After too much alcohol Ambra wakes up half naked next to the guy she likes. Unfortunately her memory isn’t quite right and the night has events which don’t fit together in her mind. At the end of book one we have

Another amazing instalment to the Chaos and consent series. I won't give anything much away in my review, because I feel like you need to read these books first hand without picking up snippets from reviews, because the raw emotion from the story is so moving. I can't stress enough how much you need to pick up these books and give them a go. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Book 2 deals with some dark issues, it will break your heart, because it happens in real life. We know it does. The w

Bravo! I'm a total loss for words at to explain just how fantastic this book really is. God it's heartbreaking and I found myself sobbing, huge wracking sobs whilst reading this story, the emotion it evokes is just too much at times.

Betrayal is hard thing to read and this beautiful now broken soul, not only has to deal with what happened to her but also how people she loved and trusted did things that are unforgivable and nothing and no one can ever change that. As this book unfolds, you find y

This book was everything. EVERYTHING.

I loved book one in the duet so much, but for me, this was on another level again. The pain that the author managed to depict was brutal. I felt everything along with Ambra—the fear, the loneliness, the shame and the constant wishing that things could have been different. I wanted to hug her when she woke up from her nightmares, to cheer her on when she began to find herself again and fight back against what happened to her. I took those first baby steps for

Carrying on from where Hear What You Want left off, we find Ambra having to deal with the aftermath of a night that ended with her unknowingly having had sex... with an unknown person. All certainly wasn't how it seemed and Ambra is having to face the knowledge that her friends aren't who she thought they were and have betrayed her in the worse way possible. The emotions are so raw in this book and it certainly brought my emotions to the surface - I don't very often cry when reading a story but ...more

Kyra Lennon was a new author to me when I read Hear What You Want, which is the first book of this emotional series, and I then eagerly followed the progress of Say What You Feel as I couldn't wait to continue the story of Ambra and Noah after the nail biting cliffhanger of the first book. I may have squealed when this book hit my Kindle lol, and I most definitely wasn't disappointed with this heart wrenching 5 star read.

Say What You Feel gripped me from the start and refused to let go. Even now

Original review

This book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. Thank you Kyra Lennon!

Say What You Feel is the second book in the Chaos & Consent series and continues the story of Ambra and Noah. At the end of Hear What You Want, Ambra discovers who raped her and this book continues Ambra’s battle with the truth.

Say What You Feel was an amazing sequel and I couldn’t have asked for a better book. Say What You Feel is such an emotional book and you have to know the ending.

A HEART-WRENCHING BOOK THAT WAS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN GIVING THE PERFECT POINT OF VIEW FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED IN THE CASE. YOU ARE LEFT GUESSING TO THE VERY END OF WHAT WAY THE COURT CASE WILL GO. IT SHOWS HOW WELL IT WAS WRITTEN. THE PERFECT ENDING FOR THIS DUO BOOK SERIES.

This is the second book in the duet series; one that has turned my world upside down. It's been a while that a story has touched me so deeply like this one but it's definitely 'cuz the topic really got to me, in ways I could never explain. It's a story of a woman that has been through something so horrific and is now trying to deal with the aftermath. Not every scar is visible and it's not always easy to deal with what you've been through, to find a way to heal from within.

Say What You Feel continues Ambra and Noah's story where Hear What You Want ended. I have not been able to put either book down, in fact I have actually read them both within a 24-hour period and with the exception of having to do the essentials for my family, everything has been put aside whilst I devour this story.

Ambra’s story is not an easy one to read. It is real, emotional, raw and very thought provoking too. What she went through is heart-breaking but I felt that the author wrote her sto

TW: Themes of trauma post-sexual assault

Oops - I forgot I hadn't reviewed this one yet! This is the harrowing conclusion (I think?) to the spin-off series Chaos and Consent (a spin-off from the Razes Hell series), and is just as well written as the first book in the series was. This book sees Ambra spiral to her darkest points after having learned the truth of what happened to her on that fateful night. She struggles despite the support of loving family and new friends.

I'm sure that this wou

I adored the first part of this series, and knew I was going to love this second book.

Not quite as impacting in the sense that Ambra is confused and unsure of herself, but the way Kyra has dealt with the aftermath is spectacular.

Sensitively she deals with self hatred, self blame, and depression brought on by trauma. With Ambra’s story, while fictional, she helps the reader understand the possible consequences of social media judge and jury, and reminds us that there’s a real person behind a sen

Wow. Continuing the story of Ambra, who is looking for answers after being raped and remembering nothing. Now she knows the culprit (no spoilers, but revealed at the end of Hear What You Want), the big question this book asks is: Is it rape if...

... if it's someone you know/like/love?
... if you don't fight back?
... if you don't say no?

This story is raw, harrowing and heartfelt. It explores how people (especially women) view themselves and others, how easy it is to talk yourself into being wrong,

I read the first book in the series a while ago and came across this and was eager to continue series. Although there's a ton of inner dialogue it's okay due to the subject matter. The betrayal of close friends is palpable and her emotional turmoil as she deals with it becomes long and drawn out. I know this is completely on me because I did enjoy the story but all of the back and forth just made me want the book to be over. It is a good story and it is emotional and worth the read. ...more

I thought book one was emotional but this one far surpasses it. This half of the story really focuses on Ambra and how she and her family deal with it. I've never been in this situation but I can imagine feeling exactly the same and asking those questions of myself.

Book books have been well thought out and written at just the right pitch.

Kyra is a self-confessed book-a-holic, and has been since she first learned to read. When she's not reading, you'll usually find her hanging out in coffee shops with her trusty laptop and/or her friends, or girling it up at the nearest shopping mall. Lennon is a proud supporter of several charities. She currently volunteers for her local cat shelter as a fundraiser and social media guru. Kyra has ...more
