THE TRUTH IS SCARIER THAN FICTION

Keri Wolf has joined the crew of The Seekers, a show that searches for paranormal phenomena, as they explore a supposedly haunted old inn on the road between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. The place is famous for its warm welcome—and infamous for being the site of an ax murder rampage in the 1920s. They've barely begun when a very real dead b

The seekers
A paranormal mystry that follows ghosts from the past, more recent deaths and a crew of people all trying to get it on camera while an investigation takes place.
The best way to describe this is on the show Supernatural there is a show within it called Ghostfacers. They hunt ghosts but dont really know what to do. These people know what to do but are sort of getting in the way of the investigation but also bringing forth important information that they wouldnt have been able to find w

This book was a bit like a Criminal Minds episode with ghosts thrown in. I think this will appeal to readers who are looking for a crime mystery thriller with paranormal elements. Although this book is part of a series, it may be read as a standalone.

I enjoyed the haunted inn and ghosts that were part of this story, and wished they would have been a larger part of the book. I also liked the romantic relationship that developed. I did find that I enjoyed the second half of the book more as the s

For me this was just okay. There is an episode at the beginning of the book where a characters sees a ghost and then it felt like most of the book was just rehashing that original incident. I never felt a strong connection to any of the characters (though that may be because this is book 28 in the series and the first I've read so I don't know the history of these characters). Overall, I wanted more tension and more actual plot.

Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for the eARC.
This was my second in the Krewe of Hunters series and my reaction was the same: not for me. I didn't like it, not the story, or the characters or the writing. Heather Graham is enormously popular, so I'm definitely in the minority. But this author is just not my style, sorry!

Thank you NetGalley and Mira for the eARC.
This was my second in the Krewe of Hunters series and I decided to give the series another try as Heather Graham is so popular. Unfortunately, my opinion stayed the same: this author is just not for me. I didn't like anything about the book, not the story, not the characters or the writing. Sorry!

The seekers started off a little slow for me, but once it figured out where it wanted to go it was an enjoyable mystery with ghost and light romance. As always Heather Graham throws some history in there, enough to snag the interest of the curious. There is a murder or two in the present and ghosts from the past. It was nice for a few visits or mentions of some of the original Krewe and I look forward the the next ghostly sighting.. thank you to Heather Graham, publisher and NetGalley for the ar ...more

Omg this book was so thrilling and scared me so good, that when a firework went off in the night I fell out of my bed. It was hilarious and I’m now the laughing stock in my house! But I’m not one who has ever had a book scare me and I’ve read Stephen King. This was the first Krewe book I’ve read and as a night owl I love to read at night and this one got me good. Heather Graham’s writing just drew me in with all the details of the haunted inn and I felt as though I was right there myself. I was ...more

This is the twenty-eighth book in the Krewe of Hunters series by Heather Graham.

I have to admit this book did start out pretty slow. There was a lot to introduce in the beginnings besides the normal Krewe characters and the main leads. There were also a plethora of townsfolk and Truth Seekers cast members.

Keri Wolf was invited by popular tv and movie star Carl to assist with the opening of his newly purchased haunted inn. Carl brought in the Truth Seekers to do a paranormal investigatio

What a great thrill and suspense it was to read. What a great psychological thrill! This novel had everything in it. The thrill, the suspense, the psychological, romance and the twist is crazy. This novel will keep you thinking and guessing. When you think you right, well let me just say that you might be wrong. This had me all over the place. My heart beating so fast! Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me to review this book.

I enjoyed the story, but I have to say that I wasn't blown away. I felt the timeline was rushed, and the characters weren't fully realized. I felt the overall book could have been deeper and richer than it was.

The book is apparently one in a series, but stands alone fairly well. A paranormal group called the Truth Seekers contact a famous actor, Carl, and a historical true crime writer, Keri to investigate an inn with

Received an ebook ARC from the publisher author through Netgalley. Many thanks!

I read many of Grahams books years ago read the Krewe series when it first started, but my tastes changed (wasn't as interested in the romance) and haven't read her books in a few years. But when this wad offered I remembered how much I enjoyed Grahams writing style and character development, so I was excited to get this book.

I really enjoyed the story and the progress with the characters. I read a lot of thrillers

Meet Keri. A Non-Fiction writer. Keri has been asked to help the crew of The Seekers, a ghost hunter type show, as they explore a haunted inn. It's famous for a lot of reasons, the main one being the site of an ax-wielding killer in the '20s.

They have just begun to set up when they find a body in the basement. And not just anybody but the body of an FBI agent. Are the killings starting again? And who is the woman in white Keri sees by the body?

This is part of a continuing series. I haven’t read any of the prior books, and I was able to follow this story, as it can be read as a standalone.

I enjoy shows like “Criminal Minds,” and this book reminded me a bit of that, with a bit of “Ghost Hunters” thrown in, as a paranormal group called the Truth Seekers is called to investigate an inn in Pennsylvania, along with a true crime writer. Things change after an FBI agent is found dead in the inn’s basement. I would’ve enjoyed a bit more of the

I read everything Heather Graham wrote years ago - was a huge fan. Then my tastes changed & I wanted less romance & lost touch with this Krewe of Hunters series. When this book was offered I thought I'd give it a chance again. I did always like her writing style, just not a fan n of the "love at first sight" feel of some books.

This is one of three of the Kreawe Hunters series I have read. This can be read as a stand alone someone of the characters over lap from the other series but as always Heather Graham has the abilities to give readers everything they need without losing the story.

The story moves quickly from start to end. This time Ghost Hunters are seeking to find answers to a haunted building.

The romance between the two lead characters work as a intra romance the ending is a little too much but it is a insta ro

This is my first book in the series, so that may be why I was a little confused at times when they mentioned previous people and places. Overall though, it was fine, and I believe can stand alone. I honestly don't know how to characterize this latest in a long (long) running series but here goes my attempt- there are ghosts, there's a murder, and there's a romance. It's paranormal and it's mystery and of course it's a love story. Gosh that's a lot. Kerri and Joe are part of a team which plans to investigate whether there are ghosts at an inn in a creepy town in Pennsylvania. What they find, however, is the body of a murdered FBI agent. Oh, and a ghost. No spoilers but this does trip along ...more

I don't normally read paranormal stories but this one is almost more mystery than paranormal and its very well-written. I am new to this series but really like the Krew and all the characters although I was a bit surprised that they had some Keystone Cop moments when they should have known better. I would say this is more thrilling than scary but it had its moments of fright done nicely and the balance between solving a murder and dealing with a possible ghost was handled perfectly.
