They are bound to be the death of me.

Especially one with blue eyes, perfectly Mormon cut hair, and probably the inspiration for the girl’s camp song "Hot Priest".

Why the heck did he have to be the bishop’s son?

Cause here’s the thing. While I’m Mormon, I don’t really belong. I mean, I want to, but I just can’t seem to keep on the straight and narrow. Seriously, look at

Something About Forever by Kimberly Loth is a brand new novel about Mormons which are Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints (LDS) a Christian religion based on both the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
Firstly, when I started reading this novel I went in darkness as I did not have the synopsis to tell me what this novel was about.
Secondly, I'm not a church going, believe in god and pray type of person. However, that did not stop me from continuing to reading & devouring this nov

Something About Forever hit me directly in the feels. I haven’t read a book in awhile that’s made me cry but this one got my tear ducts flowing. Lauren and Nate’s story is very reliable. I completely recommend this book if you haven’t read it yet!

Something About Forever is a story about second chances, redeeming yourself in God's eyes, and young romance. Lauren has turned her back on the Mormon Church and God. She has become a good-time girl. A cross-country move allows her to leave her sordid past behind and start fresh. With guidance from the bishop and the help of her new Mormon friends, Lauren finds her way back to God and turns her life around.

While this book could have been preachy, it is far from it. Religion isn't forced on you,

This story is so different from any of Kim's other books. The only one that comes close is Bittersweet. In this story we learn about Lauren who has had some obstacles to overcome in the past two years due to a mistake that her father made. This is something that turned her whole world upside down and even turned her away from Church. Her mom and step dad move her out to Arizona where she feels like she might have a fresh start at things. Enter Nate, the Bishop's son at the church she has started ...more

Being not so perfect either, this book resonated deeply within my soul. The power of forgiveness for yourself and in giving to others can change your life. What a masterfully told story of love, acceptance, and forgiveness that is appropriate for teenagers and adults alike.

This book is so different from anything else that I have read from this author. We watch as Lauren overcomes several obstacles that were in her way thanks to a mistake that her father made. While I will read anything that this author writes, this book breaches on a subject that I would rather not read, but I did enjoy it. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

What originally drew me to this book was the lovely cover and the author. I had read other books by Kimberly Loth but In a fantasy genre. When I started, I had to pause, because I thought uh oh !! This is not my cup of tea. However I decided to carry on because of how good Kimberly Loth is as an author. I’m really glad I never gave up. I read the whole book in one go, ending up lying in bed at 1.30am crying my eyes out, overwhelmed with emotions. Any of these thoughts, emotions and Religious way ...more

I love everything that I have read by Kimberly Loth, but I admit that I was a little skeptical about this book. It is so very, very different from her other books, but it is a great book!

Lauren is a young woman who has been living a wild life after her father's betrayal and her parent's divorce. Drinking, partying, sleeping around, passing name it, she's done it! Although she is a Mormon and was raised attending church, she hasn't been able to go back for over 2 years. When her mothe

This book is very different from the other Kimberly Loth books I have read. It has a lot more religion than I usually like. The beginning was difficult for me because I wasn't connected to Lauren yet and I tend to avoid religious books since they tend to feel preachy. Though that wasn't the vibe I got here. Lauren began the book in what is better described as a spiritual crisis than preaching her religion. If I didn't love all the other books this author has released, I don't know if I would hav ...more

I have read many books by this author and this is a departure from her other stories. That being said, if you have an issue with religious references and how one chooses to follow his/her beliefs then this may not be the book for you. Lauren is a young woman who grew up in a Mormon household with her parents. For two years, Lauren had to live with the repercussions of a betrayal perpetrated by her father. To help her cope, she became somewhat of a wild child and engaged in activities that were c ...more

Can’t help but hear the song in my mind: ‘like to be you’.
I don’t know what it’s like to be you.

I’m grateful to know now what it’s like to be Lauren.
She has been through some serious stuff and fortunately gets a way out.
Moving doesn’t always have to be a bad thing, I know.
Well, the past does have a way of showing up, if you don’t deal with it.
But in this case it only shows what a badass girl/woman she really is. So empowering!
And also because she has some great friends who help her achieve her

First off, wow.

Lauren wants to start anew. After a move across the country, she goes back to temple after being inactive for two years. Will she find her love for the Spirit again, along with love for herself? Or will she fall back into her same party girl routine?

I will admit that I was unsure how I would like this novel when I started. I'm not a deeply religious person, and this book certainly focuses on the Mormon religion heavily. It was off putting to me at first because I found it

Kimberly Loth's latest, Something About Forever, was a departure from her other works to date. The story, while clearly a romance, had an inescapably-religious tone. Although not bursting with extraneous details about the Mormon religion in general, this romance about 2 Mormon teens brings their faith strongly into the storyline. One of the teens has strayed quite badly, but is attempting to bring their life back on track. Those prior misdeeds create an inevitable crisis in their relationship wh ...more

First off, thank you for the ARC. I was late getting it, but I did receive it. This book was different than what I usually read from Ms Loth, but I enjoyed it so much. I read it today.
This story could reflect anyone I know, at some point in their life. Sweet, church going... Something happens, and boom, you feel like you no longer belong. Or are wanted... People judge, you judge yourself, but can you forgive? Can you truly forgive what happened and forgive yourself? It takes courage, it takes l

I'm not really someone who is big on books with religion, but I really loved this story. I love how even though Lauren had screwed up in her past (and with her religion it is actually bigger than it is for most teens) that she still realized and decided to change and get back on a better path for herself. I love most that the bishop was so down to earth and accepting even though she had messed up. This is such a sweet and forgiving story that the entire time I read it I felt light hearted and ha ...more

To be honest this is very different to what I usually read but I am very happy that I signed up to read it because it charmed my socks off. The depth of emotion that the author manages to evoke is inspiring and I loved the characters. This is a story of a wonderful young woman who has faced the end of her family through her father’s actions who then embarks on a journey of self-discovery, reclaiming her faith and self-acceptance. The friendship between her and Nate is so incredibly sweet but wit ...more

I loved this story. Lauren is wonderful as the lead. She is the teen that everyone once was trying to find their way in the world. I may not share her religion, but I related to this character in so many ways. I think so many people lose their way in life and strive to find that inner peace that only religion and God can truly provide. Finding forgiveness for the wrongs we have done and caused and the hurts that have been brought upon us are often one of the hardest things we seek. Many people n ...more

I voluntarily review an ARC.
This is a standalone, a sweet romance.
It's a religious book, but not preaching. I liked how her faith helped Lauren to change her life for the better. I also liked the good writing style and the development of the characters.
I didn't like how she continued shameless flirting. If I fell for someone, I might be flirting with other guys, but not so seductive. This might not be a big deal for other readers, but I couldn't enjoy this book as much as every previous book by

A different genre than normal, I was totally enraptured by this tale. This author truly breathed life into these characters and captured the very essence of forgiveness and redemption. The pages floated by and I found myself wondering whether their forever was obtained. I definitely need to keep this tome in my memory. My granddaughter is a budding book lover and I believe she would thoroughly enjoy this. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

This story touched me in so many ways. I am a christian but all that believe in God are his children. I have to say it hits home for many kids these days of making mistakes like the ones Lauren did. I know someone that had and God does forgive. I would love to see more of Lauren's life and also the story on Jessica. Get ready to cry laugh and be mad in reading this story. It is wonderful and inspiring. ...more

This book is simply perfect! It's not the kind of book that is offered very much. I read a variety of genres, this however was a refreshing surprise.
This is the story of Lauren and Nate. Its simple. Its sweet. Its beautiful. To me it's the perfect read. I flew thru this book in record time. I only hope there are more to come like this one.

A heartbreaking love story. It was hard for me to get passed the specificity of religion but I feel it could fit into any Christian setting. It's a good story. Well written. I hope that you enjoy it too.

I received a copy of this book as a gift. I am leaving my honest review.

Kimberly Loth can’t decide where she wants to settle down. She’s lived in Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Utah, California, Oregon, and South Carolina. She finally decided to make the leap and leave the U.S. behind for a few years. Currently, she lives in Cairo, Egypt with her husband and two kids.

She is a high school math teacher by day (please don’t hold that against her) and YA author by night.
