After qualifying as a doctor, Sheila Cassidy went to Chile. As a result of treating a wounded guerilla, she was arrested, imprisoned and tortured. She sees prayer as communication with God - a living dialogue which includes both talking to God and learning how to be silent with him.
i didn’t finish this but i’m so intensely bored and fed up with it that i’m putting it in read out of spite. oh my god boringggggggggg boringgggg!!! just way too many words and all she’s saying is it’s easy peasy just relax and pray wherever u can if u want :) like this could’ve been an email this could’ve been a tweet this could’ve been a text!! i suppose it’s nice for people who are Real True Believers in this way but for me i nearly shoved a fork in my eye like ive been trying to pick it back up for nearly a year…that’s saying something
Excellent! This hasn’t suffered at all for the passage of time, and I really commend it to you. There is an ideal about prayer and time spent with God mixed with the reality of what we can do. I have picked up lots of ideas about incorporating more prayer into my life and I feel reinvigorated in my ministry t9 others.
