We have all been at a point in our life where we just need to get away from it all. Kaz decides to go to a popular destination-planet to relax and unwind. This place just sucks! I rushed right out to read this new one from Ava Cuvay and certainly wasn't disappointed. At first, I wasn't so sure about the vampire alien trope, but as usual, Ava makes it work in a totally believable way. Really, this book is a bit of a palace intrigue type of romance...not at all what I expected. But it was better than I could have imagined. And that's what I love about Ava's books.
