Interesting inside basketball information for a fan of the 1970s NBA. Behind the scenes detail from the 1976-77 NBA champs the Portland Trailblazers. This book was made even more interesting by reading this book after I had recently finished two other books with accounts of Dr Ramsay and the Trailblazers, "Breaks of the Game" by historian Dsvid Halberstam and "Shake and Bake" by former NBA great, Archie Clark. Overall, an interesting book with a long section on Dr Ramsey's coaching philosophy so the book would have value to anyone interested in coaching basketball in general.

Read this right after it came out in 1978. If you're a Blazer fan, this is a must read.

Nice quick read with some good insight on coaching fast break basketball. Some of the coaching X's and O's can be skipped over, but this book is a great resource for a firsthand account of the Blazers' 1977 title season.
