Chase has been in love with Livy from the first moment he met her. But the timing for telling her has never been right. For now, he's content being her best friend... being there for her whenever she needs him... being her sounding board... being her safe place. But he's getting tired of seeing how crushed Livy gets when her latest love interest constantly makes and breaks plans with her. Chase is determined to show her that she can do better than a guy who's just stringing her along.

Friends-to-lovers is always a favorite story line, especially when the characters are as scrumptious as sweet tea--and Chase and Livy are. Livy has an embarrassing quirk of seeing how far she can stick her foot in her mouth, but her heart is gold and her intentions are good. I couldn't believe how much I laughed at her expense, especially with her animal encounters. Chase is as true-blue loyal as they come and his family values seals the deal. I don't know how Livy could withstand his country ch ...more

I love this series by Crystal Walton and I was so happy to hold the newest book in my hands. Her books are so easy to settle in with and the characters are always flawed, imperfect and completely endearing. I am always drawn in from the very beginning.

This story had an excellent build up of emotions and chemistry. I love, love, loved Chase. He was so fantastically persistent in his desire for Livy to see her worth, value and his love for her. I loved how hard he tried to convey those things to h

Crystal’s comeback win! After waiting over a year for this story (girl has had a busy year becoming a new momma!), I was ecstatic to receive my advance copy. I’ve been a fan for several years and have loved each book in this series so much.

While Ti is still my favorite of her heroines, Livy is pretty great in her own right. But Chase? New favorite hero right there. He is unfailingly patient with Livy and never wavers in his commitment to being there for her as a friend, though he clearly wants

Dating can be difficult if you’re the kind of person who can’t seem to keep the date interested in you, enough to have a date. “Livy just wanted a date, and instead, she got another rejection. No wonder her confidence hung by a thread.” So, her best friend, Chase decides to help, by offering, “A little coaching. A few practice dates.” That’s where all the fun begins!
This story is full of fun, crazy moments. I laughed out loud many times while reading it. The many “dates” Chase and Livy had, were

So sweet! And deep. And just enjoyable.

Ok, so I knew all along that Chase & Livy would end up together. But I loved every twist and turn along the way. Walton’s characters are lovable, real, and beautifully flawed. I think this was my favorite Crystal Walton book yet. Highly recommend!

Oh, sweet heavens have mercy! I’m a goner. Totally and completely smitten. Chase Thompson is a strong contender for book boyfriend of the year. Decade. Century. Whatever. If I had been the main character in this book, there wouldn’t have been a book, because my heart was a puddle at Chase’s feet from page one. Having said that, I also don’t have the kind of emotional baggage Livy needs to process, and putting aside one rather epic book-boyfriend crush for a moment, there is such a lot of heart t ...more

This is another perfect book about imperfect people. I love this series and this book did not disappoint. It may even be one of my favourites this year so far. Chase and Livy are best friends who are meant for each other - they just both need to realise that too. I loved Livy’s accident prone awkwardness and Chase was a perfect foil to her disorganised life. There are dramas with family, dogs and cars. As well as plenty of romantic tension. Plenty!
I would really love this series to just keep go

Loved this one by Crystal! Livy was adorable. I so much identified with her and her desires. Chase, oh how I would have loved to have had a Chase in my life as a young lady! Thank you Crystal!!

As a girl who fell in love with a country boy myself, I have to say it defiantly tugged at my heart strings. Chase is so tenderhearted and protective, just like every southern boy should be. He wrestles with his own emotions and faith in the midst of different trials, which is something that we ALL can relate too. I love how much he cares for her and yet holds on to the hope that she will one day feel the same. Livy is beautifully broken. She battles the mistakes of her past and they cripple her ...more

Crystal Walton has become one of my favorite contemporary inspirational romance authors! Her writing is witty, the couples have chemistry, and the books are filled with original and honorable characters who overcome troubling pasts.

This friends-to-lovers romance will have you rooting for Chase - the virtuous, self-sacrificial, charming, and exceedingly patient Southern boy - to convince Livy they belong together, come what may.

Subplots and minor characters all serve a purpose and are woven neatl

“But then I see you. All the noise shuts down. I hear your voice, and...” “I can finally breathe again.” Who wouldn’t want someone to say this to them! Chasing Someday is a Contemporary Inspirational Friend-Lovers Romance. It is a brilliantly written poignant story of the choices and sacrifices people make when looking for acceptance and love and the role of Grace in their HAE. Follow Livy and Chase as they pretend date their way to their own forever after. I highly recommend Chasing Someday.

Sweet story. Author Crystal Walton writes stories that give hope, show love and share encouragement. In this heartwarming story, the reader learns how friendships can evolve and possibly turn into something more. From fun moments to heartfelt, loving, caring, compassionate times, each page kept me anxious to keep reading the whole story. Great read. I received a copy of this book from the author. This is my personal honest opinion. No review was required.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I love the way Crystal writes!! Crystal is one of my favorite authors!! She writes with such emotion you feel how the characters feel. LOVE it!! The book has all the elements that make it a wonderful book to read. It was so good that I did not want it to end. I was given an ARC but that in no way influenced my review.

Have you ever heard someone say that a book gave them “all the feels”? Well, Chasing Someday, the fourth and final book in Crystal Walton’s Home in You Series, is one of those “all the feels” books. I laughed (out loud, choke on my food kind of laughing), I teared up, I got mad, I swooned/melted/had to fan myself, I stressed/worried, I sighed with happiness. Just about did it all with this book.

But, y’all, I gotta be honest and say I had a little bit of a love-hate relationship with the characte

This story packs lots of emotion and captured my heart right from the start. I couldn’t put it down, because I felt invested in the lives of the characters. I just had to know what would happen next.

Livy and Chase are friends, best-friends if you were to ask Livy. Livy sees Chase as her rock, a solid presence, and a stable person that she can depend on. But she’s holding back her deepest secret for fear of what Chase would say. Will Livy find the courage to trust Chase with her past and allow a

Chasing Someday (2018) by Crystal Walton is the fourth book in her Home in You series. This book comes in all forms including eBook, and is 336 pages in length. With a full-time job and a busy six-year old, this book took me three days to read. I purchased a copy of this book from Amazon on October 7, 2018 to read and review. In no way has this influenced my opinion of the story. All opinions expressed in this review are my own. I give Chasing Someday 4.5 STARS. This book is a Contemporary Clean ...more

A country boy looking to win his best friend's heart.

If you read Just Maybe, you may remember that Quinn is rather obsessed with grammar. Her brother, Chase, the hero in this book, is a riot as he antagonizes her by intentionally mispronouncing words and using clichés incorrectly. Talk about knowing how to push someone’s buttons!

So Chase is a type of endearing hero who drives me crazy. He is the best friend who would do anything for Livy. Always putting her needs above his own. He is protective

Chase...what can I say...he is so sweet, patient, and charming! *Ahhhh* What girl wouldn't enjoy being around him?! He has loved Livy ever since he met her, but has always been in put in the "friend zone".
Livy is a bit of a different story. She feels like she isn't worthy of someone as great and dependable as Chase due to past choices she has made in her life. She always pushes Chase away if he hints at anything more than friendship because she is afraid of losing the one stable male relationsh

I love this author's books! Every time I read her books, I feel like I have learned from the characters. When I finish reading the books, I feel uplifted and strengthen somehow. Liv is an amazingly compassionate person who has made some mistakes in her life. Her inability to forgive herself for these mistakes is keeping her from seeing her value. Chase is fiercely loyal to those he loves. He tries to take care of those around him but he is overwhelmed and struggling with what he needs to do. The ...more

“Chasing Someday” by Crystal Walton is a nice continuation of the Home in You series. Watching Livy and Chase navigate their friendship, avoid the past, and hide their feelings is a comfortable read. Livy reminded me of Christina Coryell’s character Camdyn Taylor with her inclination to get into clumsy situations with their funny outcomes. We all know someone like that in our lives! Chase reminded me of the good ol’ boy friend, who is dependable and nice to look at. Having Quinn and Cooper from ...more

What a fun addition to the Home in You series by Crystal Walton! The main characters are realistic and endearing, and yes, broken and hurting, and it was such fun to see characters from the previous stories popping into some of the scenes. I absolutely adored Chase. He was such a swoon-worthy hero—so patient and caring with Livy. It was such a joy to see them grow and progress in their lives and their relationship with each other. The sweet message of forgiveness of self and accepting faults in ...more

Tender and touching are two words I'd use to describe Chasing Someday! Hunky cowboy Chase is a wonderful male protagonist who has loved Livy since the day he first laid eyes on her. Ten years have passed and lots has happened in both of their lives. Everyone in town seems to realize that Chase and Livy love each other. Chase knows he loves her but Livy has made mistakes and doesn't feel worthy of any man's love. Chase and Livy both learn to have faith in different situations in their lives. I re ...more

Aspiring coffee-shop owner Livy keeps failing at relationships, so her best friend Chase offers to help her "practice date." She's the last one to see where this is going, choosing instead to focus on the famous local-boy-made-good who shows up when he feels like it, stands her up more often, and generally treats her badly. Chase is tired of being in the "friend zone" and wants to find a way to pursue his dream to restore classic cars so he can help support his aging dad -- and that's not someth ...more

This was another great Crystal Walton story. It has all the characteristics that I love most about her books. Characters you can relate to, real situations that have drama, the emotional ups and downs, as well as the laugh out loud moments. I will say, there were times I wanted to knock some sense in to Livy, but that is what makes it such a great story. She isn't perfect, and she needs help to see what is right in front of her. She is a flawed person just like we all are. The love story is swee ...more

A gentle, feel-good, romance that touches the heart, Chasing Someday is funny, sad and hopeful. Livy carries the weight of the past on her shoulders and it takes Chase's unconditional friendship to breach her reserves. Not believing herself worthy of love, Livy both longs for and fears getting close to anyone. The story is well-written, clean and carries a message that we all need to hear at some time in our lives. Although the book is part of a series, it is nevertheless a standalone. I receive ...more

Can we give more than 5 stars???

SO good...and totally with the wait. Chase and Livy's story is one of pain and regret turned into grace, forgiveness, and redemption. While the stories of the other couples in this series go through a longer time season, and this one seems to go through a short amount of time - the dichotomy actually works. They've been friends forever so they can believably fall fast. I'm excited to see what comes next from Crystal!!
