This book represents organized thought on the subject of good living. Here is a collection of 'one good idea for each day of a year'.

I have picked up those which impressed me the most, and given them here for the use of my readers.

1. Speak slowly
Communication is not about the number of things we say; it is about the number of things that are understood.

2. Do one thing at a time

3. Keep going

4. Look on the bright side

5. Try something new

6. Drink Grape juice
Much as the Teflon coating keeps food from sticking to a pan, the bioflavonoid in grape juice interferes with the process by which cholesterol sticks to our arteries.

7. Seek a tall plateau, not the peak

8. A sense of humor helps

9. Be engaged to reality

10. Stay in control
Your life is the consequence of your decisions.

11. Listen to your favorite music

12. See the big picture

13. Stretch
Do your body a favor and stretch every day.

14. Efficiency is everything

15. Take deep breaths
Let your abdomen rise like a balloon as you inhale, filling it all the way. As you exhale, let your abdomen gently relax back toward your spine.

16. Keep your fears in line
One of the biggest hurdles to overcome fear is afr not what you are afraid of, but the fact that you are afraid.

17. Talk to your pharmacist
Pharmacists are often an overlooked resource in our health-care team.

18. Develop a healthy calm

19. Learn from losses

20. Like the way you look

21. Always think about what is next

22. Believe you can

23. Do it NOW
The most vital belief you need in order to live your life is that actions matter. Actions are called for. Actions are rewarded. Take action now.
