I love these Lark Cove books! I seriously can’t pick a favorite, they’re all so good. Sophia and Dakota’s story was just as amazing as I expected it to be. I love that these books make me feel! Emotionally charged romances are my absolute favorites.

Sophia Kendrick is one of those characters I wasn’t sure if I was going to love… in the first book she rubbed me the wrong way a bit. But there was so much more to her than what meets the eye. When she comes to Montana to visit her brother,

I didn’t think I would connect with Sophia’s character but surprisingly I did, my heart went out to her as soon as I started the book, just a young girl seeking approval from any quarter she could get it, but it just seemed all throughout her life from her parents to her siblings they were all doing wonderful life changing things with their lives, they never had time for the Sophia, g

This is the second time this author has taken a side character from a previous book who was not well liked and given them their own voice and done it very successfully. I'm really impressed with how she has made me completely change my view point on a previous disliked character.

In book one of the Lark Cove series, Sofia came off as shallow and a spoiled brat. She is the younger sister of Logan Kendrick and she was not very welcoming to Thea.

Going into Tinsel, I was curious how the author was g

Oh my gawd! This book literally shredded my heart! It was a slow process the started with just a tug and a pull that then escalated into a full on ravaging. And then, just as only this author can do it, with one of the most amazing epilogues, it was put back together more perfect and fuller than when I began. This is the type of story that an addicted romance reader such as myself hungers for. The kind that will take you from a barroom littered with peanut shells to a place where the impossible ...more

When the sparkle is gone…

I don’t think being rich and famous is all it’s cracked up to be. It’s kind of depressing to think that with all the money in the world, you still have to get up at the crack of dawn to exercise. I was a wee bit disappointed that Sophia’s chef mainly made her healthy food. I’d have to wear heels and couldn’t walk out of my house without full makeup and hair styled?!?! Being rich sounds like a nightmare. I’m lucky I was pre-warned of the disadvantages, so I might just hav

I have been a huge Devney Perry fan for a while now and her writing makes it so easy to absolutely adore everything she creates. Hands down Lark Cove is my favorite series and I have cherished each and every book. What I loved most about this series is the exquisite mountainous backdrop of the small town in Montana, that is very much a character in and of itself, and played such an important role in each and every book. “I’ve spent thirty-two years on this planet and have nothing to show for myself other than a no-limit Amex. I am nothing.”

It’s no secret that I have been a huge admirer of Devney Perry’s novels from the moment I got my first taste of her special brand of storytelling, her small-town settings playing backdrop to some of the most emotional romances I’ve had the pleasure of reading of late. But with Tinsel, Perry delivers a story that is rare and understatedly breathtaking—a story of two people

Tinsel by Devney Perry blew me away!

This story was emotional, unique and deeply moving. Though it can be read stand alone I think it is even more powerful if you read the prior books in the Lark Cove series, Tattered, Timid and Tragic.

Tinsel is the story of Sofia Kendrick, Logan's sister from book 1 Tattered. Tinsel opens with the reader finding Sofia crushed as she finally takes a hard look at her life and who she has become or really hasn't become. You see Sofia has sp

Oh Devney Perry, you never fail to make my romance-loving little heart soar! I loved this book. It’s sweet, sexy, heartfelt and no-nonsense with delicious angst that is written right, and an absolutely beautiful against-the-odds love story that stole my heart.

This is the fourth and final book in the Lark Cove series. It can be read as a standalone, but there is some character crossover and spoilers for earlier books in the series, and honest

Devney Perry has ultimately knocked it out of the park—of this whole freaking world—with the fourth book in her Lark Cove series. I didn’t think it could get any better after Tragic, but... here it is. Tinsel was just so much more than I thought it would be. It’s a soul-stirring, unputdownable and profoundly emotional tale that squeezed and tore my heart straight out of my chest. It definitely hit all the right spots for me. Oh my gawwwwddddd!!!!!! I can’t believe it’s over. This simply CANNOT be the end of Lark Cove. Can it?! I mean, if it is, it’s definitely been sent off with the perfect ending and closure for all. No loose ends, so to speak.

Sofia Kendrick, the spoiled, rich princess, right? WRONG! Well, right because she is, but she isn’t. Not really. She’s got so many different layers, every chapter reveals a new one! Even with the enormous trust fund keeping her posh, she’s the proof that money can’t buy you

Pure emotional, romantic, blissful perfection.

I mean, I have loved every single book in the Lark Cove series, so maybe it's no surprise that the only words I have for this final installment are of the "glowing praise" variety. But honestly, I don't think there could have been a more perfect ending for this series. And at this moment I'm hard pressed to think that there could have been a more perfect love story than that between Dakota Magee and Sophia Kendrick.

I wan that piece there, living and reliving from time to time, remembering all the goodness that happended there, and there were a lot of those.

Webster defines talent as “a natural aptitude or skill”. That sums up Devney Perry, and her story telling ability. Pure, raw talent with each book she pens. Devney was my favorite author of 2018 and she is maintaining the title in 2019 with her first book of the year, Tinsel.

Love, Love LOVE this book!!

Tinsel is my new favorite book by author Devney Perry. I loved this story from the very first pages.

Sofia who never worked a day in her life is the complete opposite of Dakota who works long hours, always taking extra shifts, always striving for more. He wants to earn his dad’s respect and prove to his family that he is a success.

Sofia is insecure and looks for her family’s approval, but she has her eyes opened and is forced to see herself as others see her. She tak

Beautiful ending to an amazing series!
At first I didn’t know how Devney was going to convince me to like Sofia after Tattered, but she definitely convinced me and not only that, I fell in love with Sofia.
Sofia Kendrick was a spoilt princess. But when you read why she was that way, you’ll understand her.
She did a lot of growing and finding her path in life.
And Dakota Magee...what a good man.
Proud of his heritage, but also wants to find his own path in life. Love him so much.

Sofia Kendrick is a rich socialite. After trusting the wrong person and embarrassing her family, she needs to get away. Sofia decides to go stay with her brother Logan (Logan is from book 1 on the series) in Lark Cove. Shortly after arriving Thea and Logan take off to Paris and leave Sofia to work in the bar with Dakota. Dakota is annoyed to have to babysit but it is not long before he is hooked on Sofia.

I really liked Sofia. I was afraid that she would be a bratty, bitchy socialite. She was no

Is it weird that I always forget how amazing an author is until I dive back into one of their stories? Tinsel is seriously unputdownable... I read strait through one morning and didn’t even shower until lunch time. Devney Perry’s writing captures me... it holds me prisoner from start to finish. Every time I read a Lark Cove book... I wasn't sure going in if I was going to like Tinsel by Devney Perry. I adored the previous books in the Lark Cove series but Sophia was definitely not a favorite character. But I should never doubt this author because she redeemed this character into a warm loving woman.

Sophia and Dakota are a prime example of opposites attracting because on the surface this couple have nothing in common. Sophia is a woman who has everything given to her, failed marriages and no ambition but if you dig deep yo

If you’ve read Tattered, you know Sofia Kendrick... and like me, you came into this book hating her.
In Tinsel, you get to see a glimpse of why she is the way she is. You see her background. You see her.
It isn’t until a very public, unfortunate incident sends her running to Lark Cove, Montana and into a situation that she’s unfamiliar with that she discovers who she really is and where she belongs... and who she belongs with.

It felt so good to be back in Lark Cove!!! I have never been disappointed with any book that Ms. Perry has written and she did not disappoint with bringing us Tinsel.

I loved Sofia and Dakota’s story. One of things that kept me intrigued and wanting to see what happened was “watching” how Sofia grew as a woman/person. The confidence that she acquired was awe-inspiring. Now, I loved him!!! He was his own man who just wanted to live a life he knew was out there.

Sofia Kendrick has been a spoiled princess type of character. I have looked forward to her story, because I knew she would have a lot of growth in her journey. I was not wrong. I loved the story of why she came to Montana and how she came to meet Dakota. It was a humbling experience for her. The differences between these two were so vast and wide, you would never have thought to pair them together. They had an instant attraction though, that helped lead them to more.
