Great beginner's guide. Offers many interpretations.

Note: No information about Lilith.

Somewhat culturally dated (it was written around 1990.)

Gail tries very earnestly to make the art of astrology appeal to business folk, sometimes unnecessarily, though it doesn't detract from the power and relevance of this guide.

Gail Fairfield has written an excellent primer which covers the basics of chart interpretation in a thorough, easy-to-follow, and humanistic way. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to read a chart without giving in to fatalistic thinking.
