This was a fantastic book looking at both the psychological, social, and spiritual underpinnings of racism, homophobia, and sexism. Knodrath provides tools for recognizing when someone is acting out of a fear or a real oppression and how to foster a safe community for the nourishment of all.

I grew up in California, where my two daughters now live. After traveling about the Canada and the east coast of the US, I settled in Boston where I've lived for nearly 30 years.
I teach leadership workshops and courses in supervision, appreciating differences, and anti-racism.
I am a organizational consultant and executive coach working primarily with churches, synagogues, and non-profits.
