A bit more interesting than issue #1, as we saw the ending to the first story between Rey and Unkar from that previous issue.

Nothing ultra exciting happening in the canon but it feels like this is not a series where they are going to take much chances in that direction.

Also, the "lesson" learned in the second part really does not make an adult reader feel like this is for "all ages". There is no problem in doing that, but from the time I saw the announcement at Star Wars Celebration, I thought it looked too much like they hoped for a larger audience to try it without really having anything meaty enough to sell to a more mature readership, so take my comment with a great of salt!

The conclusion to the Rey story was part surprising and part predictable.

Rey decides to save Unkar Plutt even though he is always a mean tyrant to his favorite scavenger. Rey decides to save him by trading a droid head and they both escape from some Rippers.

A very short story, like, most comic volumes, but very entertaining, full of colorful, vibrant illustrated panels. Rey finally gets her thank you from the "blob-fish" and the end of the story has a very charming ending. The volume includes a short story "Tales from Wild-Space: The Flat-Mountain of Yavin" at the end of the book.
