Drones are hard at work in the sky and around the world. Some rescue swimmers in the ocean, while others deliver food and medical supplies to remote villages. Inside Drones introduces readers to the uses of drones, the hardware and software that make drones possible, and the future of drone technology. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. Core Library is an imprint of Abdo Publishing, a division of ABDO.
48 pgs. Great information on drones. The author breaks it down and explains all components, regulations, ways to communicate, and future uses/controversy. I think it would be a great book to learn about the concept, use it for reports, use it with STEM classes. There are also sections like "Straight to the Source" and "Fast Facts" that help readers understand related information and recap what they have learned. "Stop and Think" gives good topics to consider as you think about this technology. There is also a table of contents, glossary, resources page, and index. It would be a helpful book for students in Grades 4-6. Highly recommended. This is a great new series for technology topics.
