The Summoning is a new addition to the Krewe Hunters series. I was drawn to this story because I love Savannah, and I do believe it's a haunted place. The story is so atmospheric of this incredible city that it's like you're there. The characters are likeable and engaging. The plot is intriguing and I enjoyed the whole thing. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

This is not a new series for me. I read book one, Phantom Evil, back when it came out in 2011. I haven’t kept up with the series but I have a good chunk of these the books in my collection. This series is just a sweet spot for me. I love how all the elements combine to make not only a romance but add that dash of supernatural to just provide the right punch of awesome storytelling.

The setting is nice too. I think the original series started in New Orleans but I was happy to see it had moved to
If you follow my blog long enough, you'll discover I'm crazy about Heather Graham's Krewe of Hunters series. Every book involves ghosts, most of them helpful, a romance, mystery, and history of a beautiful city. The Summoning takes one of those special FBI agents who can see or talk to ghosts to Savannah, Georgia.

Dallas Wicker knew he could communicate with ghosts from the time he was ten and a ghost in a Savannah cemetery helped him save a life and find the men who killed his mother. He also kne

I love the "Krewe" series. And, Heather Graham always does a fantastic job with her historical research which adds so much flavor to each of the books. This book was no exception. Her descriptions of Savannah, the various locations used in the story line, the people and, of course, the history of the area really supported the story. Actually, I thought it became a character in the story itself. I found Kristi, the heroine, refreshing and her reactions to her newfound "abilities" comical and auth ...more

Kristi has inherited an old house in Savannah. The house is supposedly haunted. Strange things have been happening near the house, 2 people have disappeared and 2 others have died. Are they connected?

This is a book in the Krewe Of Hunters series. It does a good job of capturing the atmosphere of Savannah. There is also a good cast of likable characters, some not of this world. Thank you to net galley for an advancedreaders copy.

Kristi Stewart doesn’t believe in ghosts until the midnight appearance of one of her famous ancestors which sends her fleeing into the night and right into the arms of Dallas Wicker. Dallas is trying to uncover the truth behind a series of seeming random deaths and missing persons. Dallas can’t find any connection between the victims, but someone wanted them gone and it might be linked to the history of the Kristi’s bed and breakfast.

The newest story in the ‘Krewe of Hunters’ series is so suspen

Kristi Stewart inherits McLane House Bed and Breakfast and everything is going well until….Kristi sees a ghost of a long gone ancestor from the war. Is He here to help or to haunt Kristi and the guests at the B&B? How is it that all of a sudden Kristi can see ghosts?
Dallas is on his way to Savannah to investigate the disappearance of several residents who seemed to have died in quite unusual circumstances. Right at the heart of these disappearances is McLane House where Dallas has made a res

Heather Graham is one of my all time favorite romance authors to read , as soon as I read my very first book of the Krewe Of Hunters I was hooked , in fact I'm slowly getting them to add to my collection of books and as soon as I saw this on Edelweiss+ I knew I had to try and see if I could request it to read, these books are my go to romance , they always seem to bring

Another great book by Heather Graham, I've been following along with the Krewe of Hunters series for a while now and I can say that I've enjoyed each and every book. This author got a talent of making unique stories. While I feel a sorta deva vu with another one of her books when it comes to this book I do like how the author managed to make her own twist and make a different story that stands out. I loved getting to know the characters and follow along as they journey though finding out more ab ...more

Savannah has lots of ghosts (it trades on that) but Kristi didn't expect the house she inherited - McLane Bed and Breakfast- to be haunted. Well, it is. And she's not happy about it. Dallas Wicker is looking into other strange things. The two of them pair up in a nicely done combo of mystery, ghosts, and romance where you can probably guess the ending but will enjoy getting there. It's well written and entertaining. I'd not read earlier books in this series (I'd not even heard of it!) but that w ...more

Horribly disappointing. The weakest of the Krewe books in my opinion. Information repeated ad nauseum, stilted dialogue, irrelevant dialogue, no spark between Dallas and Kristi, no action (body found) until page 240. Incredibly boring. Good location, but nothing exciting or eery. Ghosts Justin and Monty just hang around. How many times must people repeat that Monty's not guilty of murdering his wife, including Monty; how many times must the Civil War be dissected, but not interestingly, not from ...more

I've tried forever to get approved for a Heather Graham novel, so I squealed when approved for this one (thank you Netgalley!)

Another solid outing in the Krewe of Hunters series. I love how each one shows us a little bit of how the previous main characters are doing. My beef? I had just finished book 8 immediately prior to this and the main premise was almost the same - Revolutionary War era where the house is haunted, the houses are open to visitors, and there's tales of ghosts who killed their

A masterful storyteller of paranormal romance. I am a big fan of her writing and this series in particular. Savannah is one of my favorite haunted cities so I was excited for this book. While the characters were great and I loved catching up with the old and meeting new, the storyline fell a bit flat for me at times. Some of it seemed rushed as if she were trying to get it all in and get to the point. The history was interesting and descriptive. Overall it was good but took me a bit to get throu ...more

Not bad, and had a good gothic feel to it. It just felt awfully rushed in a few places, especially the end.

Another great read in this series. Kristi is one of my new favorite heroines and I love Dallas! The setting is great. The cast of characters are interesting. The mystery is full of twists. I thought I had it figured out and I was half right but didn't see the ending coming. I love how characters we already love from previous books always make appearances. Highly recommend this book and this series.
