Christmas Comes to Snowfall might come in a small, short story package but it certainly delivers a huge Christmasy feeling romance to fall into this season. Really. What’s not to love about a Christmas Curse, a town with a long memory and a grudge, a workaholic visitor and a hometown boy falling in love with maybe some help from the resident matchmaker? Exactly. It’s the perfect Christmas Romance storm and I loved every single moment spent in the town of Snowfall wit

This is a truly delightful, sweet, festive romance, I loved escaping to Snowfall, Vermont and meeting the great characters this very talented author has created there.

Take one workaholic website designer, send her to a small town to help create them a website to encourage tourists to visit the town where they usually have the dreamed of white Christmas. Add in matchmakers, merry makers, mischief makers and a historic broken romance - the Marshall Christmas Curse - making life uncomfortable for t

I requested this novella from NetGalley because I really wanted to start getting into the Christmas mood (despite the fact it’s not quite been Halloween yet) and this looked like a lovely Christmas romance.

This novella is about Maggie, who comes to the little town of Snowfall as she was hired to put them back on the tourism map, and Alden, a vet whose grandfather supposedly did this horrible thing to curse Snowfall. Both of them have their excuses to not getting in a relationship right now but t

This is the story of Maggie Iverson, a website designer who comes to Snowfall to redo the town’s website in order to improve the town’s tourism. She meets Alden Marshall, the town vet, right away. They end up spending lots of time exploring what the town offers, but only as friends.
I really enjoyed this novel. The story takes place over a week, but somehow the pacing seemed perfect and not rushed. The characters don’t see each other every day, but the time they have together counts. Perhaps it

I loved the picturesque , small town of Snowfall, Vermont with its quaint shops, friendly people, Wintersong Lodge, oh and I cannot forget the Marshall Christmas Curse. The town also has, Ezzie Donovan, a cute, older lady who runs the Wintersong Lodge and does matchmaking on the side. The banter between Maggie Iverson, who was hired from Boston to promote the struggling resort town and Alden Marshall, the local vet who just happens to be related to the Marshall Christmas Curse family makes the s ...more

In Christmas Comes to Snowfall by Erika Marks Tule Publishing sends us not to Montana or to the Southern US but to Vermont for a heartfelt Christmas story. The story moves at a fairly quick pace but it is not less enjoyable because of it. The good and the not so good, long memories to be exact, are brought to light as veterinarian Alden Marshall and Maggie Iverson meet.

One character is looking for the good to highlight the town for work, while the other has experience some of the bad that small

She doesn't to Christmas, three broken relationships in the past during the holiday season. Alden is the town veterinarian, who has never been well accepted in the town. Many fear that his family is to be blamed for curse of no snow on Christmas Day. There is no denying the chemistry between Maggie and Alden but they just want to both be friends, that is the plan. Maggie is super dedicated to her career and afraid of getting her heart broken. Alden has inherited a Christmas grudge some of the town has against his great-grandfather and is ready to leave town. They have an instant attraction but agree to a friendship as a way to avoid to their fear of finding love. The characters were likable, especially lodge owner, Ezzie. It’s a quick read but a complete story that completely captures the small-town charm. Christmas Comes to Snowfall is a good book to cur ...more

Sweet Christmas story that would make a great movie.

Loved the small town of Snowfall and the lodge. The characters was likeable and the storyline was good. Maggie and Alden are both holding back with their own fears that are stopping them from finding love.

This was an easy read that kept me turning the pages and will give you a bit of Christmas cheer.

I really enjoyed this Christmas story, what’s not to love about a workaholic heroine who has no interest in romance, a handsome vet, a town curse, a matchmaking innkeeper and town that always snows at Christmas....my only criticism is it was too short, I would of happily stayed in Snowfall for longer....hoping the author writes more books set here

Christmas Comes to Snowfall is a lovely seasonal novella that has wonderful descriptions of the picturesque landscape of the small town of Snowfall, Vermont. The author depicts the quaintness of the Wintersong Lodge, the charming and friendly townsfolk, and let’s not forget the Marshall Christmas Curse. Watching their relationship develop as well as them change personally was quite fun. The author did a great job developing these characters and making them feel like friends. The writing was very descriptive making it easy to imagine the quaint small town of Snowfall, VT. Overall this is a very well done, fun book that I highly recommend.

Maggie comes to Snowfall, Vermont in order to redo the town's website and hopefully boost their failing tourism industry. While doing research and getting a feel for the place so she can accurately translate that into her web design, she meets handsome veterinarian Alden, who's great-grandfather 'cursed' the town and...yeah, I got nothing after the 'and,' that was a kind of weird plot. The two hit it off and start to date.

Short and cute, but a lot of the attempts at drama fell flat for me. If it

I adored Christmas Comes To Snowfall. This story packs so much into its short length that it really feels like a much more complex novel yet it is short enough to indulge in the whole book in an hour or two. Perfect for curling up with while sitting in front of a roaring fire with a cup of hot coco or an egg nog. I can just imagine it!
I think that’s one of the things that attracted me to Maggie, the story’s heroine. She is a web designer so obviously pays meticulous attention to detail, but she

Christmas Comes to Snowfall by Erika Marks. This is Maggie Iverson and Alden Marshall’s story.

Maggie comes to Snowfall to design a new website to help boost tourism in the town for the holidays and meets Alden who is a veterinarian. Neither have time for a relationship but you never know what can happen with the magic of Christmas or Ezzie’s meddling. I really loved Maggie and Alden’s characters. Christmas Comes to Snowfall by Erika Marks is a lovely sweet Christmas story about finding where you belong. And finding that one true love.
It´s also about Maggie Iverson that comes to Snowfall for a one-week job. And veterinarian Alden Marshall that has a little bit of a "curse" hanging over him.
Such a great romantic Christmas story.

I so enjoyed reading this book and watching the attraction between Maggie and Alden. But the little thing that stopped this from being a five star read for me was the stupid curse, it didn’t jive with the rest of the story and I must admit I just didn’t understand it, but that being said all the rest of the story was flat our wonderful.
