Cute pup wearing a Santa hat. Dual title font with “Christmas” is a sloppy, nearly illegible font. Christmas tag design is an appealing touch. Synopsis sounded adorable. What’s not to love about small-town holidays and pets?

A simply enchanting Christmas story that is sure to put you in the mood for holiday magic. This story is very sweet with a lot of heart and self reflection. The writer creates very realistic characters set in an idyllic setting that makes the reader wish for snowy nights and Christmas cheer. I really enjoyed being sucked into the lives of the residents of Silver Falls. And the ending is everything you want it to be.

So here I thought I had the great opening line for this review about not being able to wait for Hallmark’s Christmas movies and needing a dose in book form, but did you know that the Christmas movies start in a week?! A WEEK!!!

Regardless, The Christmas Window by Melissa McClone very much feels like a Hallmark Christmas romance with an immediate antagonism between the hero and heroine, a gently developing relationship, and all of the warm-hearted feels of a small town joining together. And, by no

Yet, meeting Callie Andrews makes things better for him and the more time they spend together, the more Brandt wants to stay. Will Brandt be able to let go of what happened in the past or will he break Callie's heart?

One of the hardest parts of being an adult is living up to the expectations of our families — or maybe, what we believe those expectations are. Callie is quite happy and content living the life she wants, owning a doggy day care business and sees no reason to change that for anyone else. Yet, with her family coming in to town for the holidays she’s determined to show them just what a success she’s become… all without a law degree, or big business takeovers under her b

Lots of cute dogs, a matchmaking aunt and some serious romance, made this a fun book to read.

Doggy daycare owner, Callie Andrews, was determined to win the annual Silver Falls Christmas window display competition this year. She couldn’t wait for her family to arrive and see how well Wags and Tails was doing. They think all she does is play with dogs all day and want her to find a better career. She would show them that she had become a successful business owner.

Callie Andrews has made her own way and successful doggie daycare and grooming business in Silver Falls despite her family wanting to take care of her. She has a lot of pride and to her detriment often refuses advice and help. Brandt Winslow was burned by his business partner Nick when he sold their company without his input and took all the credit for everything. Nick seems selfish and self serving, so I’m glad he wasn’t given his own romance novel. Brandt is only in town for a few weeks visiti ...more

When I first saw this story, I was instantly in love with the cover of this book because I love a story that involves animals. Then when I read the blurb this was the type of book that I enjoy reading about. I really enjoyed the Christmas theme of the story and the small-town kind romance of this story. If you’re a fan of heartfelt Christmas romances then this story is for you. Set in tiny Silver Springs, this story brings together two people who are determined not to get involved with anybody, Brandt because he’s been hurt in the past by a bad business relationship and Callie because she wants to prove to her family that she can build and run a successful business by herself.
These two are both strong, independent people. Both are generous and caring and more than eager to step up to the plate
