About the author

Over her two-decade-long career, Simcha has written for Pokémon, Disney, Nick Jr. and Nickelodeon. It all began when she was a student at New York University, Simcha landed an internship at the post-production house that dubbed the first seasons of the Pokémon television show. What started as a summer job in college has turned into a lifelong passion for Pikachu and writing for children. Simcha has authored dozens of Pokémon Books from short stories for beginning readers to detailed encyclopedias for dedicated anime fans. In her free time, Simcha loves to read with her husband and daughter, both of whom look just like Squirtle.

Wel leuk om te lezen met toffe scenes, maar ja niet heel erg spannend, het is gewoon de anime scenes/screenshots samen in een boek gegooid met wat tekst. En de NL vertaling, sorry, ik heb soms echt dubbel gelegen hoe suf het klonk. Pletklauw? Lily's speech naar haar moeder die bezeten was door die Pokemon en niet wist wat ze deed? Sommige andere catchphrases? Maar ik ga toch zeker nog het andere deel zoeken. Ja, ik kan het toch niet laten. XD

I like because no-one had beaten an ultra-beast, and ultra-beasts are the most powerful pokemon in the world. Not even police could beat it.

I didn’t really understand all the Ultra Beast and worm hole stuff. Just let Ash do his battles and Pokémon collections.
