While this issue was mostly backstory via Diane, it was still super entertaining and funny. We got to see all the kittens, together again, being cute. While the gang didn't get to do much, this series is still as good as ever. Just a really good issue. April was worried. Rosie was mysterious. Diane was annoying. Barney was also worried. Scout Leader Ned shows up. Ripley showed off kittens. Trauma Karen was not impressed.

I'm giving this issue five stars because I freaking loved the artwork (Apollo looked like Sokka from ATLA :')...). As for the storyline, I'm really digging it and it was super entertaining!

Have I mentioned how much I love the Lumberjanes? I’m sure I have at some point during the last 53 issues…
Anyway, it’s time for another issue of Lumberjanes, and hopefully we’ll start learning more about what the heck is going on here…last we saw a lady was turned back into the living from stone, only for her to disappear with Ripley. Not a cool move, if you ask me.

Ripley and Marigold vanished. Diane being Diane is reluctant to tell them about this strange statue/lady but finally does.
The girls are told to stay put but will they?
I know I said previously I wouldn't mention the art again but I think it worked in the backstory part told by Diane. I liked it. ...more

It's time for a rescue mission, folks! As I mentioned last time, I enjoy stories related to Diane's family and past, so I'm really digging this story arc. I look forward to seeing just what the girls have up their sleeves to get back their missing member that the Greek gods & goddesses can't do!

Here kitties! I have crinkles!

Lumberjanes to the Rescue! More fun Diane backstory and what seems to be buildup to more excitement.

I think they made up a new greek monster myth and that's cool.
