With the MgRonald renovations still underway, the hard work continues on Chio's family farm. After getting his hands dirty in the fields, and even catching a thief, the Devil King's new challenge is...caring for an abandoned kitten?
It is cute and I loved the cat chapter. My only problem is the cover! Why do they have to objectify Chiho? The series isn’t even life that and they pick the most perverted covers for no reason.
Cute stories, amazing artwork as always but I'm eager to jump back in the meat of the main plot once more and really see some progression of the main arc.
Another one of those filler type volumes that doesn't add to much to the overall story but yet kept me Intrested with the cute stories, love the end to the farm arc and the cat was too adorable!
This was a cute volume, but nothing special. The ending of the farm arc was fun, but it didn't move the story forward at all. I thought the cat episode was really cute and am glad that Maou got to spend more time with Alas-Ramus, especially since he mentioned that he felt like Emi was keeping her away from him. Overall, this was meh. I'll definitely read the next volume (I have it, so I might as well), but I don't think I love this story as much as I used to.
We wrap up the farm theft plot and then fit in several quick storylines from other formats of this series. Despite that, my interest stayed engaged in this volume and I managed to answer my own question about why I'm still reading this ridiculous series. Underneath it all, it's got some real heart to it.
I liked the conclusion of the farm arc, although a little more motive or character for the thieves would have been nice. Granny was a nice addition. The kitten bit was cute but a little forced.
This was honestly a great volume, I really liked it so much better than the previous ones. Also I love cats so yup, silverfish is baby bun I will love till death.
