I read this book in a day. I’m not shure how i feel about it.

I liked Alex in the first chapter, but Carrie i’m still deciding; Alex was a good character in the beginning, funny and he was really proud about his accomplish with the wrestling, but then he turn to be a little vain and started doing everything to make Carrie’s profesional life very complicated. He felt like he was a god send from heaven, very cocky in a bad way.

A very short read.

But a very fine read.

We first meet Alex, a Scottish wrestler who has travelled all the way to the States for the first time for his champion ship.

Along the way, he meets Carrie, his agent and with a spirit of fire that amuses Alex a lot.

They fight like cat and mouse through most of the book but of course there's the element of sizzling chemistry.

There's no denial in that.

Overall a very fine, fantastic, and fabulous book!

This book is everything you would see in a sports-filled

I literally just finished this. It was very fast paced and very short. i didn't know that it was a short read until it said "The End" Lol

This book follows Alex "Freakshow" who is this sexy hot as athlete who just got signed and to the WWF (World Wide Wrestling Federation) and Carrie is his agent. Right off the bat their first meeting is not great. But it was my favorite scene because Carrie asks him if he is drunk (which he was) and he says "No? Im Alex)

That line made me fucking laugh. So Carrie
I am so disappointed. After reading the blurb, I felt I had to read this book. I didn't notice it was a novella but who cares, right ? I mean : sport, romance, Scottish... SIGN ME UP !

And yet, Alex quickly got on my nerves after the first chapter. He was naive, immature and annoying. I couldn't understand how, after working so hard for his big break, he became like this. I was expecting more from him at least regarding his work ethic. And don't get me started on the way he treats Carrie...

Pinned is a novella length story, I saw some reviews that expected it to be a full length novel so now you know!
This story is fast paced insta everything, these two are at each others throats one minute and on each other they next. I love banter and strong heroines and we got both in this quick read.
Alex "Freakshow" McDade is a sexy Scottish wrestler in the WWF who gets his shot in the USA, upon arriving he finds he has a female agent. That doesn't exactly sit well with him, he's used to doing w

Wow, I loved this book so dang much! I was drawn in right away and still in the story after reading the end. I found myself pulling for Carrie and Alex right away! I totally understand why Carrie fault the attraction for so long, her ex was a real duce bag. The end had tears in my eyes thinking they weren't going to get their HEA. I think I was in love with Alex from the very beginning of this book, the love he has for his mother was just amazing. You just know if a man can love his mother like ...more

I received this book from the NABC in exchange for an honest review. 2.5/5

Before I started this book I was anticipating a full length book, not a novella. The synopsis oversold it. I was expecting more from the characters, more chemistry, more banter, more everything really. I am generally not a fan of standalone novellas as I feel they don't leave enough room to develop the characters or the story line. This was no exception. It felt rushed, and at times it seemed to jump around between scenes

I was expecting more from this book but unfortunately I wasn’t massively keen and didn’t realise at first how short the book was until it said only 20 mins left to read! I found the book description oversold a bit. I think the writing style didn’t help for me and I didn’t really feel like I got to know the characters that well? Was hoping for a bit more character building. I felt a lot of it was rushed and jumped from one bit to a comple

Alex’s dreams come true, when he is offered the chance of a Wrestling Career in the States. It’s what he’s always wanted..

On his arrival in the US, he meets his new agent Carrie. She’s beautiful and bossy, everything he could want in a woman. Yet she seems immune to his charms. Which is only made worse, when they have to spend so much time together.

Can Alex fight his feelings?

Really enjoyed this steamy sports romance. I read in one sitting, unable to put my kindle down. Turning page after page

I didn't realize this book was so short! I thought it was too short - it felt like a novella even though it's not. I also did not think it was a unique story either. It was too short for there to be a good backstory and I felt like it was definitely an instalove story. I would not recommend this book to friends because while the characters had good promise it just wasn't enough of a story for there to be any strong feelings one way or the other. I was really disappointed. ...more

Pinned by Kristal Mckerrington is a novella about a wrestler, Alex and an agent, Carrie. I don't have an issue reading novellas, a lot of time an author can put everything you need into a short story. I felt that this story lacked. The main characters weren't likeable or relatable at all. I didn't like how Alex changed so quickly from the beginning and for mo apparent reason and how Carrie was all over the place emotionally. I was originally looking f forward to reading this from the blurb, but ...more

Alex is a cocky sports athlete who follows his dreams and goes to the US to join the WWWF foundation. Carrie is his new agent, and does not fall for his charms. This is a well written story, which had me intrigued and hooked throughout. I look forward to reading more from this author, whose work I recommend for all.

Received this book as an ARC. Enjoyed the book overall but not enough character and storyline development but in the end a decent read.
