I met Elizabeth John at Romance Writers of America Book Signing in July. When she gave me this book, I did not know what to think other than that I wanted to read it. The minute I began reading this book, it captivated me. Lily and Jake are so different from what they do for a living to their personalities.

The easy mark

Although the theme has been used before, this has a nice fresh feel. She has plunged into the family business to forget being left at the alter. Now with her two sisters away in Italy she is trying to run things with her staff. Early mornings aren't her favourite but a delivery of wedding dresses is due and she has to sign for them. Finding an intruder, a dead body (that turns up to be her ex) and getting involved in trying to uncover what he was doing there are mixed into a great r
