Great book

Lessons to be learnt throughout the book. I feel the key takeaways apply to any gender and most especially budding entrepreneurs in the digital age.

Watch out world. Patricia Bright is a self made force to be reckoned with. The Youtube star clearly knows her stuff. She laid a lot of her knowledge out on the table for us all but I was still left wanting more. I felt unsatisfied by the information she chose to give us. Like many, I think I was looking for a more reveal of how she found success. I just wished she gave me more... went deep. I was looking for those cheeky comments she so freely gives on her social media platforms: "Nipples to the ...more

A fun read. As a fan of her youtube channel It was nice to hear more about Patricia's life. The tips she gave weren't life changing or anything but were still nice little reminders.

I love Patricia and started watching her youtube channel way before she got married. Naturally, I'm happy for her success and quickly read Heart & Hustle.

This book is a part autobiographical, part self-help. The target audience is young women starting in their careers (not me). I glossed over a lot of advice she cherrypicked from other self-help books and repurposed in her own words. However, I think it's important to see successful people who look like you. I will recommend this book to my

Loved it!

Whew! Patricia man! She really laid it out in this book! She wrote brief about her life experience, but in her book she put a lot of emphasis on actual tips that we can all take home and apply to ourselves. I’ve been watching her YouTube channel for years now. I’m a huge fan of her channel and I’m proud of her for write her first book! I love how she supported her advices and tips with evidence! Great read! Highly recommend!

If you are a subscriber of Patricia, I recommend this book. For me, she is one of those optimistic, driven women that I like to think about when I need to set myself in motion so it was only natural that I’d read her book. I would say this book is more for her followers or for people who are interested to start a social media business.

While I enjoyed reading it (it’s a perfect holiday read), I can say that two ideas stuck with me:
1. Take emotional distance from your work.
2. Address yourself in

Great for young adults, late teens early twentys. The ones who might want to try their luck in social media, wants tips on networking and job-interviews. Im early 30's have a job/career already + a family, so I felt a bit to old for the tips in the book.

I have been a huge fan of Patricia for years and started watching her on YouTube back in 2011/2012 so of course I eventually purchased this book. Overall a very easy light read, it feels like she's talking right to you. Content wise - nothing I didn't really know before but always encouraging and motivating to have someone tell it to you and remind you of your potential. There was quite a bit of vagueness in my opinion - a lot of DO THIS!!! But also don't if you don't want to! - which makes ...more

I love her and her YouTube channel. She is one of the first YouTubers I started watching and one of the few ones I do still watch. When I saw she published a book, I knew I have to buy it and read it. I didn't even know what the book is about until I started reading, I just knew I had to support her. I loved reading about her life and everything she has been through. I also loved all the advices she gave. As another person said below, the advices she gave were not life changing or mind blowing ...more

Heart and Hustle was a great read full of useful tips for life and for business.

It is definitely one for my bookshelf. I love the little action pages that push you to take action straight away. Although the conversational tone of the book was friendly, it felt like it missed a bit of Patricia Bright warmth. Whilst there were a few stories of her life and upbringing, I personally wanted more. The chapter on finance was strong but a few of the others felt repetitive and choppy- hopping from one

Listening to this book on Audible and really glad to be doing so as my luck with books has been a bit hit and miss recently. I'll update the review once I've finished. I was a little unsure when I was about an hour into the book because I couldn't tell how self indulgent the author was being though she comes out with a lot of good tips.

I actually hadn't come across Patricia Bright previously as I'm more likely to check out the videos of Aaron Doughty, StarGirl and Michael Sealy, a pretty

There were aspects of this book I loved, being a long time subscriber of Patricia's I did think her voice was authentic and I did enjoy the other areas of her life she did share in the book. Although I did like the tips she gave they weren't things we haven't heard before but she done it her way which I appreciate. However although I liked the book I feel it is more geared toward the budding social media influencer/entrepreneur and for that reason I did not think it's for everyone.

Patricia is a brilliant young lady, she gave god insight into her life and her success. I follow her on YouTube and Instagram and she is very successful, she shares a lot of her tricks and tips. I listen to this book through audible and was happy to see that it was in her voice. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to make things happen.

Lovely book. She gives tips and practical advice. Love that she also did some research to back up what she was saying. Respect her now even more after being her fan on YouTube for years. Especially more useful to the younger generation if you want to establish an online presence

This was a very entertaining and motivational read. I really like the setting your goals section and the importance of your identity online (even if you don’t want to be a social media superstar like Patricia). Do read this if you are looking for career inspiration!

I absolutely adored this book. Full of inspirational, no-nonsense advice, as well as stories from Patricia's life that are so relatable. It's a great option for someone who has been taking all the right steps but just feels that something is missing from their lives.

You can't knock the Naija (Nigerian) get-up-and-go attitude to life. Great job by Patricia on her debut. This books reads like having a chat with your homegirl next door. I enjoyed it.
