If you have a preteen/teen reader who is interested in life aboard submarines, then this is the book for them! Filled with not only the history behind how submarines came to be, but actual photos from life aboard subs and the school sailors have to go to to even become a submariner, this book covers everyting a person will be interested in. A great resource book because the author does a magnificant job of giving us just the right amount of details but not making it boring.
