So ... I powered through the WTFery because I like Yvonne Lindsey. But probably anyone else and I would've DNF'd it right there.
The hero and heroine sign up with a dating agency that uses all sorts of compatibility tests - psych evals and such to match you with the "perfect person" and of course *eyeroll* they have a 100% success rate. All of this is fine ... BUT WAIT.
As part of using the dating agency you SIGN A CONTRACT that you will marry the person THE FIRST TIME YOU MEET THEM. WHICH IS LITE

What happens when an estranged couple rekindle old flames? This second chance reunion story by Yvonne Lindsay is emotionally gripping and passionately entertaining. I enjoyed the journey Valentin and Imogen took me on. Their story has a dramatic flair to it with raw feelings stirring between them and watching them grow from start to end is so worthwhile. The big question is what will it take to make their marriage work? The answer is quite simple: everything. Inconveniently Wed is well-written, ...more

I love a second chance romance, especially when they haven't been shagging everything from here to Christmas in the meantime. Imogene and Valentin have signed up for a Marriage at First Sight style marriage agency and they meet each other at the wedding. However these two have done the whole wedding thing before. Seven years ago they met and married while doing doctor and teacher volunteering in Africa. They had barely got to know each other when evil OW turns up in the marital bedroom and Imoge ...more
Well, I'm still looking for that elusive contemporary marriage of convenience story, because this one certainly wasn't it. It falls squarely into second chance romance, which is a trope I enjoy, so I forged ahead.

This book is exactly what it says on the tin: Valentin and Imogen are exes, having met, married, and divorced within a couple of months while both were serving on aid trips in some unnamed African country (because apparently it was too hard to pick one). Valentin was a trauma surgeon an

The Harlequin version of the Murphy's law - Every H who has ever been accused of infidelity by h would always choose to continue to keep the OW in his employ despite the OW not worthy of loyalty or friendship. The corollary - when it's time to reconcile the said OW would interrupt with the best/worst timing sense. The H and h were married when they met in Africa. The OW and H had an affair that died and H refused to resurrect it. The H was foolish enough to give the OW a key to their apartment t ...more

Fast paced, mesmerizing and addictive! Once you step into this book, you'll find it hard to put down! The characters have a rich back story that we spend a good bit of the book catching up on, and as secrets are uncovered they set out to find a future together again ... until the same old trouble flares it's ugly head!

Imogene O'Connor is tired of waiting on the family she's always dreamed of, so she decides to use the services of Match Made in Marriage to find her Prince Charming. She's agreeing

“Inconveniently Wed” is book two of Yvonne Lindsay’s Marriage at First Sight miniseries.

Seven years ago, Valentin and Imogene Horvath divorced. Now, both are looking for that someone who wants the same things they do out of life and marriage. Without realizing it, they both hire Match Made in Marriage to help them find that someone.
And, according to Alice, the owner of Match Made in Marriage and also Valentin’s grandmother, that someone is each other!

Imogene has to learn to trust Valentin again.

Another lovely story from Yvonne Lindsay, Inconveniently Wed is very definitely a second chance at love story. Imogene and Valentin Horvath first married years ago while they were volunteering in Africa, he as a doctor and she as a teacher. First time round these two gave in to the immediate attraction they felt for each other and tumbled hastily into a a marriage based largely on that attraction. That marriage ended when Imogene found one of Valentin’s colleagues in their bed, clearly relaxing ...more

I found this to be an enjoyable read.
This is the second in Yvonne Lindsay's Marriage at First Sight series. As with book 1 Tangled Vows, the heroine Imogene meets her hero Valentin for the 'first time' at the altar, and quickly learns that the company Match Made in Marriage that she enlisted to find her a husband is run by Alice Horvath, the grandmother or nagymama of the groom.
It could just be that I was in a reflective mood when I read the book, but the challenges/conflict faced by the main c

Inconveniently Wed is the second book in Yvonne Lindsay’s Marriage at First Sight series. I love second chance romance tropes and this one definitely fit the bill. Valentin and Imogene had been divorced for seven years. Both of them longed to be married and have a family. Enter Alice Horvath, Valentin’s grandmother, who runs Match Made in Marriage and they both find their lives intertwined in one of the most unusual ways.

Not only do they deal with their newfound remarriage, they also face the i

What a great story about second chances! Inconveniently Wed is the second book in the Marriage At First Sight series. Valentin and Imogene have been matched by Valentin’s grandmother who runs the Marriage at First Sight dating service. They find out right before walking down the aisle that for them it is not the first time. The ex’s are reunited after having divorced seven years before. They agree to give the marriage a second chance. This time around the two of them decide to take things slowly ...more

Harlequin Desire:...: Inconveniently Wed by Yvonne Lindsay 2 12 Jan 03, 2019 12:21PM
A typical Piscean, USA Today! Best-selling author, Yvonne Lindsay, has always preferred the stories in her head to the real world. Yvonne is a five-time Romance Writers of Australia R*BY nominee and three-time nominee and 2015 winner of the Romance Writers of New Zealand Koru Award of Excellence. She spends her days crafting the stories of her heart and in her spare time she can be found with her ...more
