Hoax knows two things very well. One, he's not relationship material. Two, the nurse that treats him for erectile dysfunction is the most beautiful thing he's ever seen, and practically has "the marrying type" stamped on her forehead.

Does that stop him from wanting her? No.

Unfortunately, he learned a long time ago that Army Delta Force and long-lasting relationships don't go hand in hand. But beautiful hazel eyes, curly blonde hair, and the prettiest lips he's ever seen play havoc with his resolve, making him forget his earlier convictions.

All it takes is one teeny, tiny kiss for every shred of control he has to disappear, along with the problem in his pants. Soon he finds himself doing things that he knows that he shouldn't. He doesn't know that he's found the woman that's meant to be his. Nor does he realize that her father is the man he's idolized from the moment he joined the army at the age of 18. Because, maybe if he had, he would've tried a little harder to ignore the pull he felt between them instead of making her his the night before he deployed for six months.

He also might've tried a little harder not to knock her up.

Contains mature themes.

I was interested in Hoax since reading about him in earlier books and I was totally excited for this book. I wanted to see what the woman for him would be like. While Hoax remains as interesting and sexy as he appeared to be in his set up, I’ve got to say that I’m a bit let down by the heroine chosen for him. I felt that Pru was immature in some of her reasoning and that the growth was there but not quite enough. Despite that, I found the storyline interesting and I eagerly devoured the pages despite my aversion to the heroine. The writing, pacing, and prose were solid.

5 ‘Love you across Texas and back’ Stars

MEGA SWOON!!!!! I already expected an spectacular story based on blurb alone, but consider my mind blown: Hoax and Pru are EVERYTHING! My Bad is absolute Contemporary Romance Perfection! All the hearts, all the starts for these two and their love story!

I’ve been waiting for this book since the very first LLV book, Boomtown! After Sam and Cheyenne’s amazing love story and his alpha with capital A, I couldn’t wait to see his girls all grown up and driving him crazy with their dating and their very own HEA.

“Darling,” I drawled. “You wouldn’t be just a page in my book. I’m not that kind of man. Never have been, and I don’t intend to start.”

Hoax and Pru… WOW… From the ‘unconventional’ reason for the very first meeting, to their banter and his relentless pursuit of her, I adored every second of this story.

Hoax’s ‘problem’ instantly disappears at the sight of Pru – one of Sam’s twin daughters – and she is just as equally attracted to the tall and handsome, bearded army man. That is the problem though, she has a rule, after being screwed so many times in her past, no military. Well, guess Hoax is just the man to prove not all military are the same. The right man in the most delicious of packages that is…

Hoax was like a just made, hot and ready glazed donut.
It didn’t matter how full you were, whether you were on a low-carb diet, or where you were about to go. Almost nobody could pass up a just-made donut that was still hot.
I sure as hell couldn’t.

This man, with his sexy beard and his all-too-knowing eyes, was my glazed donut. Something that I couldn’t resist…and if I were being honest, something that I wanted to taste and devour.

Yep, HOT Alpha alert all the way! Not only irresistible in his sexy looks, but also the most devoted and faithful of men. That’s right, he was the FULL package. So adding to that his hold no barriers will to knock down her defenses, he was the definition of best book boyfriend!

Pru was just a breath of fresh hair, much like Ms. Vale’s main female characters, she’s as sassy as can get, with a ‘make no excuses’ attitude and who knows who and what she wants, add to that her SPECTACULAR family, and she’s my favorite type of heroine to read about.

“Maybe I am annoying. Has that ever crossed your mind?”
“There’s no doubt in my mind that you’re annoying.” Before I could get pissed, he continued. “Annoyingly intelligent. Annoyingly beautiful. Annoyingly evasive…I could go on.”

Being the smart woman that she was, meant she could easily see that Hoax was nothing like the man of her past, and on a league of his own – or should I say, from her father’s league?! LOL.

Hoax truly was everything I was hoping for and more. Due to his set timeline to leave, he knew he had to conquer Pru, and was not afraid in any way to show his true feelings. I can honestly say it’s one of the things that made me fall that hard for this man. He knew what she meant to him, and held nothing back. Not even his loving words… Sigh…

Here I am, not giving one single fuck that you own me.”

“You’re so fucking screwed,” Carl said.
“Yeah,” I agreed. “But I’m screwed and happy. There’s a difference.”

How amazingly refreshing it is seeing a man express himself openly like that! There is no resisting him. Straight to my BBB – Best Book Boyfriend – list!

My Bad was indeed a top to bottom, perfect read! Sure, we didn’t have that much on page suspenseful angst as usual from the author, but it just allowed us to focus more on their relationship development, to focus not only on their incredible love story, but also on the extraordinary side characters – a ton of them that I want ALL the books about!!!. Awww, and how amazing it was to see all the Free gang again! After this TOP read, stamped with Ms. Vale’s incredibly addictive writing, hilarious moments (OMG, that stall scene! LMAO), heart touching love story and steamy hot sexy moments, I’m even more – if that is even possible – anxiously awaiting Bayou and Phoebe’s story!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

“Love you across Texas and back,”

He loved hard and made no apologies for it. He took care of what was his and went out of his way to make sure that no matter what, they knew he would always be there. And I loved that about him.

Welcome to Hoax and Pru's story. Since the very beginning of these books I have waited patiently for Sam and Cheyenne's kids stories to be written and I'm no disappointed with it at all. Pru so like her mother in looks and attitude is just brilliant to read. Hoax a military man like her father Sam is alpha and so sweet at the same time that you have to just love the man. Enter animals that make you laugh and a psycho and we get a story that is just so good you can't put it down

2 ⭐⭐ - Meh!

🤔 🙄 🤔 ❓ 🤔 🤷‍♀️ 🙄 😴 😣

More or less the same as the previous books. Nothing new here.
Insta lust, insult love, crazy villain, many unexplained points or who knows I missed something in some previous book that explained the lunatic behavior of their boss at the hospital.
And I was expecting some crazy action from Brie, but nothing came of it. Maybe she'll loose her madness in the next book.
Okay, I finished reading, but it did not excite me in any moment. 😥

Hoax knows something is wrong with his lower region area and decides he needs to be checked out. At the hospital he sees Pru and decides maybe she is the solution to his problem. When he asks her out though she says no. Not one to mess with fate Hoax decides the second time he meets her that she is worth the effort and finds ways to insert himself into her life.

Pru doesn't date anyone in the military. She has been burned too many times and doesn't want another repeat. However, the more she spends time with Hoax, the more she wants him by her side. What will happen though when he gets called back to work? Will they be able to navigate a long distance relationship?

This book had one of the best beginnings I have read. Hilarious. Pru is quirky and I thought the way she avoids acknowledging certain things was hilarious. Loved Hoax he is a big teddy bear and you never doubt how dedicated he is to Pru. All the family makes an appearance in this one.

4.5 out of 5 stars

After the chaos in Mess Me Up, I was very hesitant as to what this book would entail. Normally, I might have not given a chance to the book after MMU, but I liked the writing and the setting in that story, so I wanted to try this one too. I was very happy by the end of the book and I can say that it was worth the risk. It didn't have a lot of drama which is a plus in my book. I didn't want to see them fighting over the baby or her having to raise it alone for a while because Hoax had pushed her away for some silly reason. The story was satisfying and it had a nice pace. The characters were likable and I didn't have a single problem with either's behavior. I would have liked to see a scene where Pru actually examins Hoax for the little problem he had that made him go to the ER in the first place. It could have been a hilarious scene. I wouldn't like to think of my hero as someone who had a problem as he did and I was happy it was fixed quite early in the story. Finally, I must say that I loved the quotes or life hacks we got to read at the beginning of each chapter. Some made me even LOL and I don't do that frequently.

Lani Lynn Vale consistently gives us stories full of love, passion, laughs, action and suspense. I’ve yet to read a book by her that I did not like at all. My Bad is up there in the top three of my favorite LLV books. From the first paragraph I was captivated and could not put the book down. Hoax and Pru are perfect for each other. There are so many laugh out loud moments I thought I might need a Depends to finish the book. We get to see some previous characters and meet some new ones, which is one of the things I love about LLV books. The animals, yes ANIMALS, in My Bad steal so many scenes and make for some interesting scenes ;)

Hoax is military and has not settled in one place, he is alpha, sexy, tatted and a bad ass. Pru is quirky, smart and sassy. You would think these two wouldn’t work but they work so well together, it’s almost magical.

Every single time I read a new LLV book I want to start over and do a re-read, I just can’t get enough of this incredible world she has built with all of her books! Thank goodness she is a prolific writer because I need her books on a constant basis!

I love a good MC romance story. They are usually a little grittier, dark, and angsty. This series may not be all of those things, but it's a fairly decent read. The chemistry between Hoax and Pru was great, they had some nice steamy moments, and they also had a lot of funny banter. My issues with this book were the insta-love aspect. I am not a fan of this, and I've always made that clear. There was just one little thing that may bother me but not others. The cover does not represent the main character. If you're going to use a person on the cover, I always feel it should be a close representation to who you write about. The other reason I settled on 3 stars for my rating was that even though this was a pretty good book, it won't be one that stands out to me personally. I have to have something to make it memorable for me to rate a book higher.

Review by Lisa Kane

Hoax Hudson Hicks has an embarrassing problem. Seems he hasn't been able to rise to the occasion lately. So he finds himself at the ER to get his problem checked out. (not sure if this would be considered a medical emergency!)

Either my dick was broken, or I was about to die.

He just hasn't had any normal sexual reaction to anything lately. That is until he spots a nurse working in the ER.

Since when did hospital scrubs become so fitted?

One look at her and his problem seems to be gone. But Pru Ember Mackenzie is not taking the bait that Hoax is throwing her way.

"I'm sorry, but I don't date patients or military," I told him, replying to his obviously silent question. "I'm sorry."

Seems Pru has had enough experience with military men that she refuses to go out with one again.

Hoax has his work cut out for him, which only makes this Delta Force soldier more determined. Hoax has never had a long term relationship. He can be called up at any time, have to serve for however long and can never open up about his missions. That doesn't make for a great relationship.

That was the life of Delta Force. We were there when we were needed, and we didn't have set dates when that happened.

But Hoax is no dummy, and while he breaks down Pru's barriers, he knows there is something so special about this girl. His body responded to her right away, and it seems his heart might just be opening up too.

Pru's lets down her guard and the two of them are just crazy about each other. Caution might just be getting thrown to the wind.

We shouldn't be doing this where we were. We shouldn't be doing it without protection. We shouldn't be seconds away from making a mistake no adult should ever make

Hoax gets called up to return to a mission. Neither wants this separation but this is their life, things happen.

I bet we all know what's going to happen next-Pru is determined not to let Hoax know his life is about to change and in a big way. She wants him to stay focused on his job and besides that...no woman wants to be wanted just because of a child.

When it rains it pours and Pru is about to get soaked. Her life as a nurse means long hours and hard work. The last thing this pregnant nurse needs is a jerk bothering her at work. Especially a crazy one with power.

"I don't think I asked your permission. If her performance at work is suffering, then it's our business, because she's made it our business."

Thousands of miles away, Hoax knows things aren't right with Pru. He's frustrated and for the first time, he seriously thinks about changing careers, putting down roots.

I'd thought long and hard about what I was going to do with the rest of my life, and I still hadn't quite figured out the best answer.

But in the meantime, he's jumping out of his skin, just wanting to get this mission over and get home.

If we'd just get our shit together, we could get the fuck out of here, and I could get home to where I needed to be.

My Bad is the latest installment in the Bear Bottom MC series. These guys are all bad ass, walk the walk and take no prisoners. Each are hardened, hearts closed who meet the right women who turn their lives around in a 360 spin that makes them dizzy. Delicious!

"I love you, Pru."
I licked my lips and tilted my mouth, offering it to him.
He took the offering and groaned into my mouth.
"I love you, too, Hoax."

There is HOT and then there is Hoax and Pru…

The electricity between Hoax and Pru was obvious from their very first meeting. Their immediate attraction and lust was intense, with witty and sexy banter adding to their spark. There’s nothing hotter than two people who can’t keep their hands off each other and they definitely fit that bill! And to make it all sexier, they laugh together all while wading through life’s c**p with each having the other’s back. They were simply fun to watch and read, as they figured out being together was worth all the obstacles…

“Hoax was like a just made, hot and ready glazed donut.”

This series is a spin-off and this read felt even more ‘next generation’ as Cheyenne and Silas, Pru’s parents, were just a few of the much loved supporting characters. Love, laughter and all the feels mark this author’s stories and Pru and Hoax are now one of my favourites!

I am in the process of reading the Freebird series and man it just have me hooked all over again on this authors books.
This one was no different.
Pru does not date patients or military men. She does not need another over protective man in her life or another military guy that cheats on her. But she doesn't know what she's in for when she meets Hoax.
Hoax met Pru when he went into the ER because he thought he had a problem 'down under', lol. But the minute he sees Pru he knows that she is about to change his life and he doesn't have a 'problem' anymore!

I love this story, its filled with family, drama, laughter, steamy moments, LOL moments and so much more. If you have not read any of this author's books you are seriously missing out on lots of alpha male hotness and drama and laughter galore.

Seriously I've been waiting on this since 2013. I mean like the minute I knew Sam and Cheyenne were having babies I just needed to know how the second generation got on and whilst I know we've already had some of the second gen stories .. it was all about coming full circle where it all started and that is with Sam and Cheyenne.

Also I wanted to see Sam's reaction!. Heck yes.

Pru and Hoax make my heart happy.

Pru is legit a baby Cheyenne. Don't get it mixed up though! She has her own personality and place in the world but she got a good measure of her momma in her and that makes me happy. She got an independent streak a mile high.

Hoax is exactly what Pru needed. Strong, Capable and stable. Pru fixed his little problem the minute he seen her and from then on he knew she was going to be his. Thing is Pru wasn't going tot make it easy for him.

Their story is much more focused on them and their relationship development rather than suspense or angst. It builds us up slowly letting us get a good feel of them individually and together as a couple. I love getting to dig deep into the root of the characters and finding what makes them tick.

So much chemistry flying around the place I can't cope. The sexual tension between them from the start had those pages burning up despite Hoax's 'little' problem. They had this palpable chemistry.. the kind were you just knew it was about to get all kinds of hot. The banter, the bickering ... everything just fit so right.

The story is seemlessly written and packs a punch is the best ways. It flows at a great pace giving you everything that you need but still leaving a few surprises that may pull the rug from under ya. All kind of hilariously dysfunctional shenanigans going on here that will have you crying in laughter so much that you stomach will hurt. That easy banter and connection between the characters is what makes these stories so fucking great and so easy to read.

The in law bonding between Sam& Hoax... dead!! Honestly I cried laughing for a solid 20mins.

All kinds of fucking greatness so I'll leave my gush fest here.

LOVED IT.

5 SMOOCHES!

I am a huge fan of Lani Lynn Vale’s, and a large reason for that is because of this amazing fictional world she has built for her readers in Texas through many interconnecting stories and series and characters. With each new book she releases, Vale builds upon that community, and it’s resulted in an unparalleled reading experience, one unique to Lani. But what’s truly remarkable is how she’s written these stories in such a way that a new reader doesn’t have to go all the way back to the beginning – a daunting task for any reader when faced with a back catalog this large – and can jump in anywhere. Vale’s work is like a long-running soap opera, with a couple of spin-off shows, but in book form. As a reader who’s been reading her books since the very first one was released, I can unequivocally say that I’m hooked, and I cannot get enough of these characters, these places and their stories.

Something else Vale does well is the way she writes about regular guys and everyday heroes. Firemen, police officers, paramedics and military men, Vale takes all of these complicated alpha types and pairs them with a perfect match. Her heroines are just as feisty and fierce as her men are alpha and possessive. My Bad brings together Pru, a nurse, with Hoax, a biker in the Bear Bottom Guardians and a man in the Army. These two had that instant crackle of attention that makes you sit up and take notice. Pru may have fought it a little at first, but Hoax didn’t have to work too hard to coax her out with him. They were so sweet, and from the minute they met, there wasn’t anyone else for either of them. There was a sweet feel to their romance, but that didn’t dampen the heat between them. There’s always a suspenseful edge to Vale’s stories, and she didn’t disappoint here giving her readers a creepy plot arc amongst a sweet and sexy romance.

It wouldn’t be a story by Lani Lynn Vale without her fantastic sense of humor, and it peppers the pages throughout this book in new and thoroughly enjoyable ways. As the daughter of one of Lani’s founding couples, there was plenty of screen time with fan favorites Sam and Cheyenne, Pru’s parents, making this yet another winner in a series full of them. Five smooches from me for My Bad by Lani Lynn Vale!

My Bad is everything you'd want in a LLV book. It's full of sassy women....Overprotective alpha men....and laugh out loud antics by all.
The difference with this book is that is was super sweet. Hoax and Pru were absolutely adorable together. There never was a moment that they didn't show each other that they loved each other.
I'm am loving that the next generation is getting their own books. Can't wait for the next book!

I just loved this book right from the beginning when we hear the opening thoughts in Hoax’s head, as he sees the nurse in the ER who cured his problem without knowing.
Hoax asks Pru out straight away, and she refuses as he is military man. Hoax finally wears Pru down as they start to fall very quickly. This is LLV at her best, this book had it all a great storyline, with lots of different characters that I loved. Pru been around ex-military men and motorbikes all her life so Hoax’s life meshes very well with Pru’s.
This has passion, love, funny parts with a storyline to keep you gripped to your kindle and a big surprise for all. I love this series and its always a pleasure to read.

It's so awesome to see the the McKenzie kids all grown up. Pru, Piper, and Phoebe.

This book brings us the love story of Pru and Hoax (Dixie's grandson).

I thought it was ridiculous and quite funny that Hoax went to the emergency room because he thought he was experiencing E.D, but as soon as he saw Pru his penis perked up.

Pru was determined not to get involved with anyone in the military (active or veteran) due to his past terrible relationships with men who had served, but Hoax made it known (and proved it) that was nothing like those men.

As always the story was sexy and funny at times. Plus it had the added benefit, as a lot of Lani Lynn's books do, of allowing the reader to catch up with characters we've come to know and love.

There is so much I could say about this book, but I don't want to give anything away! This book is connected to several of the series by LLV, but mostly in a peripheral way. Hoax has close ties to the Bear Bottom Guardians, but leads a nomadic lifestyle. He is military, with no real home base. He lives life as it comes, taking it day to day, until a trip to the ER for an embarrassing condition leads to a life changing meeting. There is an instant connection, and even though she doesn't want to get involved with someone in the military, he knows what he wants. Surprises are plentiful in this book, including some I never saw coming!

I love Hoax! He is patient, determined, and totally Alpha, which is exactly what she needs! I loved visiting with friends from previous books, as well as meeting new characters. This book focuses a little more on the military aspect of this life, instead of the MC focus of previous books, but there is just as much action and suspense, which I loved! The chemistry and heat between the main characters was amazing, and I loved how comfortable they were with each other! This was a great addition to the Bear Bottom Guardians MC, as well as the LLV world as a whole!

I am SHOCKED!!!!! Completely shocked, I tell you!!! That I didn’t hate this book!!! Is this one rated so highly because it’s spectacular, or just because it’s so much better than the others??? That’s something we’ll likely never know. Like Unsolved Mysteries.

So Hoax (sexy military dude) falls for Pru (nurse, daughter of Sam & Cheyenne from Freebirds). Hoax is still enlisted and he eventually has to leave her for a while. Of course, as with all the other books, there’s a surprise baby. I don’t consider this a spoiler because it literally happens in ALL of the other books. I’m telling you wherever these fools are getting their birth control from – they need to be sued. I’ve never seen so many women have their BC fail them in my life!!!

Anyway, the story is super sweet. Pru doesn’t suck!!! Their love is quick and easy. I also absolutely LOVE all of Pru’s pets. They were freaking hilarious. And while we did have extensive potty humor in the first few chapters, we didn’t have to listen to it during the last half of the book. I really don’t understand LLV’s obsession with pooping and farting. Anyway – of course there’s a bad guy in the book, that’s to be expected. One thing that I felt was dropped off was Brielle. It seemed like she was going to play a big part in the beginning but then she kinda disappeared. I was hoping they would either decide to make her a bad girl or make her a friend.

There’s plenty of involvement between the characters and Pru’s parents, Sam & Cheyenne – and they don’t suck in this book. Yay! Also provided us with some funny times.

There’s plenty of sex in this one. I especially loved their first time. It was hot and dirty and perfect!!

I was also really happy that this book seemed to stay focused instead of having 50 different plot points, like in most of the other books. I’ve complained about this a lot in the past.

There is the word repetition, where she’ll repeat the same word a dozen times within the same paragraph. But it wasn’t nearly as bad as some of the others.

Overall, I can’t think of any real reason to complain. It’s def my favorite out of all the LLV books I’ve read so far.

Bear Bottom Guardians is good MC series. I really like that author did take me to world full of bad, big boys with bad big and wild machines. My Bad is great additon as next book in this series.

Lani Lynn Vale done amazing job with Hoax and Pru's story. I enjoy them since the begining. I read My Bad in one setting because for sure this book is impossible to put down.

Pru is woman who knows how MC world works. She knows the rules, she knows  men like Hoax...  Exactly that makes her petfectly match for him. Let's be honest... this big guy has no choice because once he meet this amazing woman-  Pru is... and he is  lost. He's maybe tough MC member, but inside Hoax is pretty good man. Man with open soul and heart, who do everything what's needed for people, that he love.

Lani Lynn Vale gave me great time with this couple. I liked also  the plot, characters from the second plan.. slow burn, sexy moments and this little drama from the backdround. My Bad should is definetly must read.

FTC DISCLAIMER: I RECEIVED AN E-ARC FROM THE PUBLISHER THROUGH INKSLINGER PR. I VOLUNTARILY OFFER MY HONEST REVIEW OF THE BOOK, THOUGH IT IS NOT EXPECTED OF ME! RECEIPT OF THIS BOOK IN THIS MANNER DOES NOT AFFECT MY OPINION OF THE BOOK OR THE CONTENT OF MY REVIEW!

With every installment of this series, I find myself enjoying this "universe" more and more! This book actually took a humbling situation and turned it humorous instead! I really loved Hoax! I really enjoyed his loyalty and devotion to Pru, as it was done in a totally believable and realistic way. Pru was a great heroine, strong and determined at the same time. I really liked how Hoax shook her convictions, and how she ultimately gave them up in the face of her love for Hoax. The plot moved quickly, but as a reader, I didn't feel like there were parts of the story missing. It was a very quick and enjoyable read!

I am loving this series so much! Although it says Bear Bottom MC, most of the books are about the romance between the main characters and very little about the MC. I say that up front not because the book is bad, but go in with the expectation of reading a really good book and not on what the MC part of the story is.

We have met Hoax and Pru in previous books. They bump into each other at the hospital where Pru works and Hoax just can't get her out of his head. She actually knows some of his crazy family and of course his brothers in the MC. But Pru doesn't make it easy for Hoax. And what follows is a super sweet, totally romantic and somewhat humorous wooing of Pru.

You'll sit down and read this one straight through. Interesting characters, perfect banter and lots of loving. Hoax could not be more alpha than he is but boy can that man make a girl swoon. Loved it all!

Lani can do no wrong her Bear Bottom Guardian boys are just... WOW!! Hoax is no exception, he is military special forces with no fixed abode. Off on medical leave after a motorcycle accident he becomes enamoured with Pru the feisty nurse who is adamant she won't date military men!! Hoax is not one to back down from any fight and makes it his mission to have Pru. What ensues is a fabulously written story that will have you laughing out loud, it will have you shouting at your kindle and it will also have you swooning for the HOT alpha male Hoax as he woos his girl. Gah I always get excited when Lani introduces us to another one of her sexy men and Hoax was one of the best yet!! I can't wait for more!!!

I am absolutely am addicted to Lani Lynn Vale and her stories! Her books are intense, funny, sexy and so real. Hoax and Pru were just so perfect together. They were honest and just two peas in a pod. I was hooked from the get-go and seriously can't wait for more!

When Pru meets Hoax she knows somehow this man is different. No novice to military men and the lifestyle that dating them entails she tries to deny their connection without fail. But Hoax is determined and dedicated to making Pru his girl. Gah!! My Bad was just a great story! I loved the cast of characters and all the new and familiar faces. I seriously can't wait for Bayou's story! Bravo! 4 stars! ~Ratula

I felt like I loved this book as I kept reading it. This is my first book I read in this series so some things would probably make more sense if I started from book 1. I really loved seeing the relationship between Pru and Hoax grow. Also there were some hilarious laugh out loud moments. Then the sisters are Pru, Piper and Phoebe (any Charmed fans out there?). I will have to go back and read the rest. Overall this story held my attention and was fun to read. Some moments where I was holding my breath and definitely wanted to know what happens next. I’m sure this won’t be the last book I read from this author.

I liked that there was no relationship drama in this one. Liked how Pru and Hoax were together from the start and how Hoax wasn't afraid of Pru's dad and uncles. Of course a big part of that probably had to do with his connection to the Dixie Wardens.

Both Pru and Hoax dealt well with his job and I loved how Pru won over the rest of the guys. I also liked how Hoax supported Pru in her job, she definitely needed it.

The ending had me smiling, loved how protective Hoax was.
