There are rarely books which hits you hard because of its gutsy representation of the issues it wants to discuss with its readers. One such book that I have just ended up reading is “The End Of Romance” written by the 2nd time author, Amitabh Satyam. The book also stages a tagline: - “Lessons in Patriarchy, Feminism, Rights and Privileges”. Gender inequality has always been a subject of discussion and debate. This is a universal topic which has never faded till date. There are many groups which have been formed in the name of "supporting or protecting the gender" but most of them are predominantly towards protecting the Women.

The End of Romance is a book that talks about patriarchy, feminism, rights, and privileges.

It begins with instances of male-bashing in an apparently women-oriented society. To say that the feelings hidden within these stories hit you hard as a woman, would be an understatement. These instances help you get a closer look at how things are not as we presume.

The numbers of rape, molestation and sexual assault cases we read/hear about in which women are the victims are, as per the author, way
