A Refuge for His FamilyAn Amish Witness Protection storyWhen criminal lawyer Tyler Everson witnesses his boss's murder, he becomes the killer's next target--along with his estranged wife, Annabelle, and their daughter. Now they must enter witness protection in Amish country. But reuniting with his family isn't easy when Annabelle doesn't trust him. Will going into hiding keep them safe...and bring the family back together for good?
This is the story about a family that is put in the witness protection program in the Amish country. I did not feel that this was a true Amish book because the majority of the book was not set in Amish country. In fact very little was said about the Amish community.
Dana you nailed the ending! This was well done for it dealt with a issue that wasn't easy. We meet criminal lawyer Tyler Everson and his wife Annabelle in this story. Its a different kinda story that is interesting to read. To find out you need to read the book. This book is full of action right from the start. It gives you an idea of what people go thru when they see something. It also shows Tyler and Annabelle reconnecting. Its got some mystery in it. But the action in it will have you turning the pages to see what's happening. Its a great story well written. I would love for Stacey and Karl to have a story. But til then this was well done Dana. I look forward to your next book.
Excellent second chance story combined with intense suspense. The book started with a bang as Tyler witnessed his boss's murder, and the intensity remained high throughout. When Tyler realized that he would be the killer's next target, he also feared that his daughter and estranged wife would also become targets. Convincing Annie to leave everything behind to enter witness protection with him would not be easy.
It was clear from the start that Tyler still loved Annie, and missed her and Bethany desperately. His decision to pull away from them had been meant to protect them, and now they were in even more danger. I ached for Tyler and his fears for their safety, especially when he had to try to explain it to Annie. Annie was furious when she heard about the trouble Tyler was in, blaming it all on his job. She refused to believe that it would spill over onto her since they had been separated for several years. She was quickly proved wrong and reluctantly agreed to go along. Annie was still hurt and angry at the way Tyler had abandoned her and Bethany. It was hard enough on her, but the way he ignored their daughter made her livid.
But something unexpected happened as Tyler and Annie ran for their lives. The loving father and protective husband was very different from the one Annie thought she knew. I loved seeing them get to know each other again. Both of them also had the chance to look at their pasts and realize the mistakes they made. Tyler realized that he hadn't given Annie enough credit for being strong enough to deal with the truth behind his withdrawal. He had allowed his guilty feelings over what had happened to drive his actions. Annie came to believe that she had been harshly judgmental, rather than looking beneath the surface for why Tyler had changed. But it still took nearly losing each other for them to see that they belonged together, no matter what obstacles they needed to overcome. I loved the ending and seeing Annie demolish all of Tyler's fears. The epilogue was sweet, and a nice wrapup of the storyline.
The suspense and action in the book were outstanding. From the very first pages, the action was nearly nonstop. It seemed that no matter what they did, Tyler and Annie could not catch a break, with the bad guys either right on their heels or occasionally one step ahead of them. Once Annie accepted that they were in danger, I was very impressed by the way that she held it together, especially when it came to her fear of heights. There were multiple times when I wondered how they were going to get out of the current situation. There were a couple of times when each of them made boneheaded moves that put them in greater danger. The intensity of the final confrontation had me glued to the pages until it was all over.
AMISH HAVEN is a unique reading experience. True to Love Inspired Suspense formula the attacks start immediately in the first chapter and continue on throughout the book. Reality is suspended as one wonders how the bad guys know things in advance and are always one step ahead of them.
There are several inconsistencies and contradictions and one wonders how a non-Amish lawyer and his divorced wife hope to merge into the Amish world without even knowing the language.
AMISH HAVEN very definitely is a suspenseful page-turner that will have you on the edge of your seat at times. The only thing Amish about this is some of the setting and a few secondary characters so those who are not-Amish-fiction-fans should be able to enjoy.
This is a wonderful edition to the Amish Witness Protection series. I loved seeing Tyler and Annabelle regrow in their love for each other after becoming estranged. I loved the suspense and romance. I enjoyed the twists and turns. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Amish Haven. This is book three of the continuity series Amish Witness Protection. I have loved this series; these are three of my favorite authors. I really enjoy Amish stories and I really enjoy suspense books so this series is a great fit for me. This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. You are going to love it.
Criminal lawyer Tyler Everson is estranged from his wife and child. She had been injured in an accident several years ago and he believed it was by a man he had sent to prison. He had lived in constant fear ever since. When his wife complained he wasn't the same man she married he had let her and his daughter go. Now he has witnessed a murder and he must go into witness protection now his family after being threatened must go with him. They were to hide in Amish country. Can he keep them safe? Can they be a family again?
Annabelle Everson went to the store with her daughter. Someone was watching her; she had felt it earlier but there was no doubt now. She took her daughter's hand and abandoned her cart, running for their car. The man chased after them. When a police car pulled up she asked for help and the man was gone. Tyler called her later to tell her he was going into Witness Protection; she asked if they could be after her too as she was followed. Annabelle and her daughter agree to go with Tyler into the program.
Can they survive? How can things work when she can't trust Tyler?
A struggle to survive in a world gone mad. The Amish community was peace and calm but always is the fear of being found. God has a plan for these three; a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your situation.
Criminal lawyer, Tyler Everson, witnesses his boss’s murder and is immediately thrust onto a dangerous roller coaster. When his estranged wife and daughter are targeted, his anxiety goes into overdrive. They must leave everything they own and their family, and enter into the witness protection program in Amish country.
However, being reunited with his family doesn’t go as he hoped. It’s clear his wife still harbors anger and resentment toward him. Can he keep his family safe and win back Annie’s love before their captors find them?
Dana R. Lynn has done it again with this exciting conclusion to the Amish Witness Protection series from three amazing authors. I thoroughly enjoyed this clever tale of Ty and Annie’s reunited love story. The plot kept me focused and reading to find out how it ended.
The characters were ones I wanted to root for during this read. Annie and Ty’s relationship was believable. Little Bethany’s pout made me smile.
The emotion and sensory details in this novel are amazing. I could picture the Amish community and their horse and buggies trotting along the road.
The other two books in this series were also wonderful. I enjoyed reading Amish Hideout by Maggie K. Black and Amish Safe House by Debbie Giusti. These three books are separate stories with some common characters weaved throughout. I do recommend reading them in order as it’s nice to see how the series progresses.
I enjoy reading Dana R. Lynn’s books and can’t wait for more!
I give Amish Haven five kapps. It’s a wonderful story in an Amish setting!

This is an incredibly intense romantic suspense novel!
Both Tyler and Annabelle are fantastic! The author did an amazing job of developing each of them. Their backgrounds are slowly shared throughout the book making them more realistic. The fact that they have an adorable 5-year-old is just an extra draw for me.
The danger is thrown at them, and the reader, from the very beginning. It really helped to captivate my interest. I was emotionally invested from the get go. They are relentlessly pursued and they each have an emotional journey to go on even while they are trying to stay ahead of the bad guys after them. I enjoyed seeing how they grew and matured along the way. The fact that they were working on learning to trust God was a definite bonus.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Amish Haven is a mixture of suspense, faith, action and romance with the hero and heroine being in an Amish Witness Protection with the bounty for their lives. Tyler Everson and Annabelle had been separated but when Tyler’s life is at stake they are brought together alone with their young daughter, Bethany as their lives are at risk, too. Dana R. Lynn crafted a spellbinding read with this story that kept the pages turning while trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The vivid scenes, descriptive conservations and intimate moments for the primary and secondary characters brought a wide aware of emotions to surface. Fans of Amish suspense, faith and romance will not want to miss this latest book by Lynn.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was under no obligation to write a positive review, but have expressed my sincere thoughts. I look forward to reading more books by Dana R. Lynn as they are released.
I thoroughly enjoyed this LIS suspense read about an estranged couple forced in to the Witness Protection Program when the husband witnesses a murder. It has great characters with just the right amount of relationship issues they are forced to confront when they have no choice but to hide together from the criminals seeking to find them. This is book 3 in a set but having not read the first two, I don’t feel I missed much not having read the others yet. The mystery angle itself is standalone, but characters from the previous stories make appearances in this book. All in all, this is an exciting read that kept me involved throughout. The only reason it took me a couple days to finish was because of a miagraine that kept me from reading...otherwise I would have devoured this book a lot quicker!!
I received this book from the author and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
Amish Haven by Dana R. Lynn is the third book in the Amish Witness Protection series. This book can be read as a standalone even though it is part of a series. Amish Haven is a book about a married couple who has been separated for years but haven't ever actually finalized a divorce.
Tyler is a high powered attorney who has people after him for witnessing a murder. Even though he hasn't saw Annabelle or their daughter in years they must enter into witness protection with him. This story can be fast paced as well as emotional.
This is a sweet read. Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in hopes I would review and mention it on my blog. I wasn't not entitled to leave a good review. Just my own thoughts and opinions.
I always enjoy Dana's books and this one was another great blend of suspense and Amish fiction. There was plenty of non stop action and dangerous situations that will keep you turning the pages.
After criminal lawyer Tyler Everson witnesses his boss being murdered he finds himself thrust into the Witness Protection Program along with his estranged wife Annabelle and sweet daughter Bethany.
Throughout the book Tyler and Annie are confronted with situations where they must overcome fears. They reexamine their relationship and wonder if they can ever have a future together again.
The twists and turns along with lots of non stop action will keep readers turning the pages of this book from beginning to the satisfying ending.
This action packed novel by Dana R. Lynn will keep you reading page after page as the criminal lawyer, Tyler Everson, fights to just stay alive after he witnesses the murder of his boss. He is forced to enter a witness protection program, along with his estranged wife and young daughter. They eventually arrive at an Amish family's home, where it is hoped they will be safe. Can this estranged family work together and settle their differences for the good of all, or will they just be putting themselves and the Amish family in more danger? You will not want to miss this exciting book by Dana! While I was provided a copy of this book by the author to read and review, I am under no obligation to provide a positive review. I honestly just love all of Dana's books!
This is the third novel in the “Amish Witness Protection” continuity series, and it doesn’t disappoint. It follows Tyler and Annabelle. It could standalone, but I’d suggest reading the entire series, as it’s quite enjoyable. The story reminds the reader that love can overcome anything … even fear. The pace is active and the dialogue sharp. The action starts early on and remains steady throughout. Amish-themed novels are some of my favorites, and suspense stories are, as well. So, this book is the perfect combination.
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy, but I wasn’t required to leave a positive review.
Being married is hard enough and sometimes we make bad decisions. Tyler's bad decision cost him his wife and daughter leaving him. When he witnesses a murder involving an unscrupulous wealth man he is put into witness protection with his wife and daughter. There is non stop action as they are separated from their handler and eventually put in an Amish home. Working together their feelings rekindle and misunderstandings come to light. But will it be enough to last once the threat is over? I received a complimentary copy
Edge of your seat suspense that kept me up until I finished last night. Make sure you have nothing else to do when you start as you won’t want to put it down. Great characters and unusual circumstances. This book gives us a behind the scenes look at going into the witness protection plan and the ramifications. The author handles wrapping up this series with style. Enjoyable quick read that is entertaining. I won a copy from a blog. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.
I have really enjoyed this series with the U.S. Marshals and the Amish. Tyler was an attorney who had stepped on the wrong people's toes. His wife left him taking there young daughter with her. Tyler has found trouble again, he walked into his boss's office to say goodnight right in the middle of someone killing his boss. Now he is on the run, his estranged wife and child is also in danger. This story has murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, and bounty hunters. It was good to catch up with the characters from the first two books in the series.

In Amish Haven, Dana Lynn weaves a delightfully suspenseful tale! This was a new to me author and I am glad I was able to read this story. The author writes in a way that makes you not want to put the book down. We were on a road trip while I was reading it, and I was in suspense wondering what was going to happen next as I drove down the road. This is a book I definitely recommend if you are interested in suspense, rebuilding families, amish based tales, or just good Christian fiction!

This is the conclusion of the Amish Witness Protection Series. Annabelle and Tyler has to be willing to overcome their fears for each other and for their daughter, Bethany. To place your trust in God first helps to align your heart to such a degree that another person can then trust you. Great story don’t pass it up.
This author is new to me, and I read this in a copy of the 2 in 1 Love Inspired book that I won from Vannetta Chapman. I HAD to give it its' own review though because it's THAT good. I was hooked on the story from page 1 and stayed on cheering for Tyler and Annie throughout the non-stop action! You will not get bored with this story! And I will definitely be looking for more stories from Dana.
This was a first rate story filled with heart stopping suspense from first word until last. I loved the storyline and interesting characters. This book is recommended for those who love Christian romantic suspense.
Loved this end to the continuity series. The whole series was so awesome. This book was also fantastic. The characters were so well written. I would love to read more. It was sad to see this book end.
Dana R. Lynn's latest Love Inspired Amish Witness Protection book was a fantastic read. Her words grabbed me on the first page and drug me through the book breathless and wanting more. Well done, you! I highly recommend this Amish thriller to anyone who loves mystery and the gentle Amish life.
What a great ending for this continuity series! The characters were well written and there was plenty of suspense. This was my first book by this author, so I wasn't sure how I would like it. I have to say that I am looking forward to reading more of Ms. Lynn's works!
Ms. Lynn wrote another page gripping novel. A family was thrown into turmoil by a father being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now, everyone must reunite to survive while hiding in Amish communities, while trying to blend in and overcome past feelings. It's a great read!
