I love anything that Micalea Smeltzer writes. I have read just about every one of her books and loved them all. After reading Wild Collision I could not wait for Kira and Rush’s story. They are two people that are very guarded but the connection between them is undeniable. They have their own thing going on that is nothing more than sex and a good time. The two of them together are fund and sexy but when their life takes a different turn that either one of

Knew I was going to love Rush from chapter one, "he grins up at me. “You didn’t accidentally fall on my ***k,” he reminds me." Rush doesn't apologize for who he is the man owns it, "I hop out and jog around to help Kira out. She gives me a disgruntled look when I grope her *** as I help her down. “I can only be so much of a gentleman,” I tell her with a shrug, locking the truck behind us." Rush likes to make sure his woman is taken care of, “to feed you, woman,” I declare. “You have to eat, and ...more

Wild Flame by Micalea Smeltzer was an emotionally intense story with a lot of witty humor that captivated my heart! The moment I opened this story I knew that I wasn't going to be able to put it down until I reached the very end because I was hooked right away. This story was not like I originally expected it to be, but I think tclass="gr-hostedUserImg">

Steamy and hot, so not a disappointing book at all!

Omg I’m in love with this book, it was really really good. Rush and Kira’s story was full speed ahead with so many ups and downs from the very first page to the last. And I’m telling you, it is not disappointing at all. To see the loss and tragedy that Rush had gone through and what Kira’s life was like growing up breaks your heart. It really shows you why they are the way they are and what makes them go together so well.
Both Rush and

I’m always excited to read a new book from this author and I’ve read all her contemporary books and the majority of her paranormal books! I also loved the first book in this series, so I was excited for this book, especially because the main characters story started in the first book! I then received an ARC of this book and made it my next read! After reading this book, I can say that I absolutely loved it! It took me about three sittings to read because I didn't want to put it down and the plot ...more

Here's the problem, I love Micalea's books. Which is why I've read all of them. As I read this book all I could think about was Beauty in the Ashes and how much this book parallels to it. It made me on edge that Rush and Kira would end up the same way Sutton and Caelan did. I guess that's why even when everything was resolved I was still waiting for everything to fall apart. And speaking of Micalea's other books, if you've read Bring Me Back, you'll love seeing Blaire and Ryder with the Paper Cr ...more

I requested this book straight from the author since I am a total fangirl about the Willow Creek series. If you haven't read The Willow Creek Series--buy it! Now! Believe me you will not regret it. Both Willow Creek and The Wild series are rock star romances.

The Wild is a band that the guitarist, Joshua Hayes from Willow Creek is mentoring. I mean who else would you want as a mentor than a guitar God?

Sorry, it I hadn't stopped myself, I would've keep ranting about how gr

*I was given an ARC in return for an HONEST review*

Listen y’all it’s been a bit since I’ve had a book take me to this level. I had to take an emotional break from books for a week after I read this. Micalea is on top of her game once again. If you liked willow creek you’ll love everything about this series and especially Wild Flame. I cant say how much I love Rush and Kira. The fire between these two at first scared me. I was kind of fearing it would be a Beauty in the Ashes deal but was pleasa

For the first 40% of this book, I questioned the length. Everything I was reading could have easily been condensed into half the length, and frankly I began to get frustrated. I LOVE this author, and even though she talked about and explained her reasoning behind the length of the book on her FB pages, I just wasn't seeing it. Then I hit the 55-60% mark, and I got it - I got why there was so much information and detail and backstory. Because without all of that, it would have been impossible to ...more

This was such an emotional book about two very broken people. Rush has not accepted nor come to terms with his parents death, while Kira had a tough childhood that has affected her outlook on love. Both make a pack to sleep together, but not be in a relationship or get to know each other. Of course, that plan soon explodes. I love how they get to know learn about each other and come to care about each other, to slowly seeing them fall in love, even though Rush and Kira strongly deny their growin ...more

I have read a few books by Micalea Smeltzer and this is by far my favorite. While this can be read as a stand alone I would suggest reading the first book in this series because it will give you a background to the major players in this story.

Rush and Kira are comfortable and confident in their current relationship. They are friends with all of the benefits without the long-term commitments. They both have dark pasts that have molded them into closed off and scared individuals. However, they so

I absolutely loved Rush.
This book really takes you in an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed and cried. I loved we saw how Mia and Hollis were going and catching up with the willow creek gang. I'm so excited for Cannon's book along Fox's. Even though I loved this book Kira wasn't exactly my favorite person, (sorry) i understand she had a tough up bringing but the way she acted and what she said sometimes grated on my nerves. Whereas Rush even for all his faults and mistakes i still wanted to wra

Great continuance in the Wild series!

I’m a big fan of this author, and love all the books I’ve read. This book for me wasn’t great, it was good. I felt like the main characters were too stuck on their pasts and continued to remind us how crappy their pasts were. I understand Rush’s pain and his turn to alcohol, but I think Kira’s pain was so blah. Some people are dealt bad cards from the beginning and I understand she had to learn how to cope and love on but I felt like half the book was a big

Wild Flame was such an intense and good read! From the way it started off, I knew I was in for the ride. Rush and Kira have been through a lot in their lives and made them who they are today. They are so much alike so of course they had an intense chemistry. Their relationship suited them so when the unexpected happened, it was fascinating to read how they would handle it. I felt for these two. Their past was sad and tragic. But I was all in for Rush and Kira. I loved the time they spent togethe ...more

Emotion beyond compare, witty humor, and some real life tough choices make this book hit my top-five favorite 2019 reads. Wild Flame hit me straight in the feels. Rush and Kira are an extraordinary couple, and they have that once-in-a-lifetime kinda love I only hope i'll experience in my own life. A must-must-MUST read for anyone that loved the Willow Creek or Light in the Dark series. Or if you just want a story to rip your heart out and slowly mend it back together. I loved Rush and Kira. They both hid behind masks in the first book but I knew there was more to both of them. Finding their way wasn’t easy, but by the end they picked up their broken pieces and were able to love one another. I LOVED that Blair and Ryder were in this book! Bring Me Back was an amazing story and I loved how their Paper Crane Project helped Rush. I loved it and can’t wait for more stories of The Wild guys!

Wow!

As with Wild Collusion, Micalea took us on a roller coaster of emotions. What a great story and the way everything played out was awesome. I’ll be honest and say that it did drag a bit, but in the end it was worth it. Hopefully we’ll get to see what happens with the rest of the band! The name chosen for the baby was awesome- all the kids I know (I’m a teacher) with the same name are amazing!

Kira Marsh and Rush Daniels both have a past they want to forget. They found something in each other, a quite unspoken comfort. Enjoying a friends with benefits relationship is all they will ever do. They both have to many broken pieces, that they vow never to get too close.

But Kira and Rush can only hide from the feelings they are developing for each other for so long. So it's easier to push each other away, before things get to complicated. But life has other ideas, and soon Kira and Rush wil

You're gonna love it

Kira and Rush were so likeable and funny in Wild Collison that when they got their own book I was in. Their story wasn't an easy one but their growth was amazing. They even left me crying a few times. Looking forward to the other guy's stories, especially Cannon.
