Hugo Gering's 1879 edition of Finnboga saga ramma, a saga of Icelanders presumably composed in the thirteenth century. The diplomatic text of the edition is based on Möðruvallabók (AM 132 fol.) but readings from AM 510 4to are printed at the foot of each page. Includes Gering's forty-page "Vorrede" where he, for example, describes the orthography in Möðruvallabók, prints the text of the saga from the fragmentary manuscript AM 162 C fol. and looks at the relationship of fifteen manuscripts that contain the saga.
Books can be attributed to "Anonymous" for several reasons:
* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author
Books whose authorship is merely uncertain should be attributed to Unknown.
