I love that this has chunky flaps. Stella always wants to play with the flaps but I'm scared to let her in case she rips them off. Not worried about that here!
Part of a set of four "Babies Love" Lift-a-Flap Books that someone gave to Lily. She loves to eat the books and hold the flaps.
This one is my favorite of the set. I've seen a lot of color books and this is the best one so far. The sentences rhyme and the illustrations are pretty. Plus, I love the purple party at the end.
This sweet, rhyming board book shares each color of the rainbow, with easy to identify objects. Each color includes a lift the flap to reveal a third colored object, one that will complete the rhyme. Cheerful illustrations. Perfect to share with the youngest readers.
she wasn't in a colorful mood tonight - we watched an old black & white Marilyn Monroe film this evening & she was fascinated - but she does really enjoy the cadence of rhymes, so this was a success.
Great beginning baby book. Lots of colors and basic words, and rhymes are always good for language practice. The lift flaps are made of the same board book material so hopefully will resist tearing.
My daughter had me read this to her over and over again before we returned it to the Library. I like that they used rhythms in the text and the flaps were fun.
Revolutionary, unmatched, and at the forefront of its category. Two stars deducted, however, because as my tiny colleague pointed out, “no stickers on it!! more stickers!”
