When teacher Sasha Honeycutt kisses a handsome cowboy in a bar on a dare, she never expects to see him again. To her surprise, though, he walks through the door of her classroom for a parent-teacher conference. Sheriff Remy Fontenot might be sexy as sin, but Sasha has no interest in falling for another police officer. Rose Creek, Texas is her fresh start after being “that ...more

Thanks to the author for providing a copy of this book via Netgalley

Well, firstly I was going to give it 3,5 stars, but then Remy broke everything good for me. He was pursuing so hard that girl, I liked it a lot! But why did he chose this last move!???
This is cute, clean story, no sex scenes, no cheating, no OP scenes.
I liked the sassy bunter between MCs. I liked this heroine, she didn't drop her panties o

Sweet feel good story. 3.5 stars
I had to think about this one for a couple days. There are so many elements in the story that I really really enjoy, Remy being one of them. He is a delicious specimen of a man that’s not to be missed.

Single dad who has a serious crush on his daughter‘s teacher who happened to share a amazing kiss with him in an anonymous way.

The story has a fun plot and while I was all in on Remy, Sasha was a good character match for him but she tended to annoy m

Carrie Nichols takes this idea and brings it to life in The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker.

This was my book I have read by this author and it was really good.. The story line with the daughter was seriously so sweet. The other characters were great. Overall, this was light hearten book.

Light spoilers-

Heroine- 4/5
The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker was a solid 3.5 star read for me. I found it cute and endearing with a young girl, 7, trying to match up her idolized hot new teacher with her divorcee dad. Some hemming and hawing on both sides being the only obstacle in the couples way.

Cute cast, cute story and an enjoyable read.

I received this ARC copy of The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker from Entangled Publishing, LLC - Bliss. This is my honest and voluntary review. The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker us set for pub

Sasha and Remy share a scorching kiss in New Orleans. Then she leaves and we later find out Remy looked all over for her. Unbeknownst to Remy, Sasha is his daughter's new second grade teacher. He finds this out when he goes to a parent/teacher meeting. His daughter was/is trying to match her papa with Sasha.
That same night, Sasha is on a date with his brother, Ethan, when Remy and Evie run into them at a restaurant and Ethan has to leave. She ends up having dinner with the two and Remy couldn't

Okay, subtle she is not...not at all. But she is absolutely charming and sweet and made me smile and giggle a lot. I'm talking about Evie, the little matchmaking daughter of Rose Creek's sheriff Remy Fontenot. When Remy got kissed by a fascinating stranger in a bar, he didn't expect to find her in his daughter's classroom back in Rose Creek after having searched unsuccessfully for her in New Orleans!

To date the father of a student doesn't sound like a good idea, especially as this is also anothe

Carrie Nichols' The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker has turned me into a forever fan. Every time Remy Fontenot says "cher" I swoon, then goosebumps appear. Sasha Honeycutt is a vulnerable but determined widow who fights the good fight but surrenders to Remy's allure just as this reader did. And don't get me started on Evie! She's a firecracker and an old soul rolled into one. Plotting to get her two favorite people together takes a mastermind and master manipulator and she does it with no conscience ...more

This is a sweet, feel good romance that made me smile. I loved Sasha, the police widow who struggles to get her life back after becoming a police widow. years before. Her small town kept her trapped and "untouchable" as a widow, so she moved across the country to start over in a different small town. She has sworn off getting involved with police officers, but one of her students engineers a meeting with Remy, the local sheriff and all around good guy loved by the community.

If you are looking for a sweet, touching romance , with a 7 year old matchmaker , this one is the one for you.
School teacher Sasha Honeycutt has been a policeman’s widow for 5 years, and the town she lived in New York didn’t let her forget it. In order to start with a clean slate in life, she takes a teaching position in Texas. Shortly after, during a weekend trip to New Orleans with some friends , she kisses a guy in a bar on a bet. The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker is a touching, sweet and feel-good romance about a widowed school teacher and her precocious 7-year-old student playing at being matchmaker for her dad.

Sasha is a policeman’s widow has vowed never to get involved with a man in law enforcement again, but little does she know when she kisses a random man on a bet, that the sexy hunk is a cop. Remy is single Dad and sheriff of his local town, and the woman who planted a good one on him one night in a bar, turns out

The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker is witty and funny with a tasteful steam level! From the very first line I was drawn into the story... "I've got money riding on this, so you better make it good,". This is a read you won't want to miss. This was the first book by Carrie Nichols that I read, I enjoyed this book so much I purchased The Marine's Secret Daughter and couldn't put that one down either! You won't be disappointed!

This book was such a sweet romantic read. I read it in one sitting. Sasha and Remy first meant in a bar where Sasha kissed him because of a bet she had made with her friends. What a kiss it was. Weeks later and both of them were still feeling the effects of that kiss. Next time they meet is during a teacher parent conference. Sasha being the teacher and Remy being the parent. The chemistry was still there. I have to say that Remy is my new book boyfriend. From the way he talked to how sweet and ...more

“I’ve got money riding on this, so you better make it good”

With an opening line like that, Nichols draws you straight in. When Sasha is dared to kiss a stranger, and that stranger turns out to be a students father, she can’t believe it, what are the odds? And he’s a sheriff which is a red flag due to the death of her husband, who was a police officer.

The story moves at a good pace, and I adore Evie, Remys daughter. A very sweet, funny and with just enough passion

The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker by Carrie Nichols is a very sweet small town romance! With a schoolteacher and single father sheriff in a small town near the Texas-Louisiana border. The characters were warm and likeable. The culture of the town was wonderful!

Do you like sweet romance? Sexy lawmen? A Cajun accent? I have a book you’ll love.

A sweet, quick read!

I liked the heroine, Sasha, a lot. Especially when she spent time with Remy's daughter Evie. She was so patient and sweet with Evie, even with the little girl's matchmaking attempts.

Sasha and Remy are fun together and bring a lot of humor to their time together. They each have their own issues to work through, but I appreciated that the book didn't feel too heavy.

The small town setting has the requisite gossipy locals, charming folk, and fun local establishments. I am looking

I am not a regular reader of romance books but whenever I get my hands on one, I enjoy it to the fullest by giving in completely to what the book promises. It's like relishing a sweet chocolate cake amidst your regular diet on a cheat day. Full of guilty pleasures!

When I picked up the book, I admit-going by it's cover- I was expecting a regular romance story. The plot here has been tried and tested over the times. How many times have we read about young kids playing cupid to get two people toget

What a pleasant surprise this charming story was. Ms Nichols is a new to me author so I didn’t know what to expect when I started reading. A story about a small town sheriff, his motherless young daughter, and the new school teacher may sound like a cliché, this one is anything but that. The characters are realistically endearing, full of depth and personality...they jumped to life in my mind’s eye. The dialog was smart and genuine, the humor subtle and at times smile inducing.

What to say about this book...
I went in with some cute expectations. There is a kid involved and a surprise reappearance-- I was so excited. Then we learn she doesn't want to be in a relationship with a police officer again. *gasp*! Things were looking to be cute and I thought the sheriff would try to win her over and show how things could be different.... I was wrong.

Sasha Honeycutt needs a new beginning, but is finding old habits are hard to break. What begins with a dare becomes a jumping off point for something more. At least, that's how Remy Fontenot sees it. He just has to convince the wary beauty to make him a permanent fixture in her life. He has the perfect co-conspirator. His precociously, irresistible 7-year old daughter. She knows what she wants and is determined to make it happen. Can fate and an adorable imp wear down Sasha's hard built walls an ...more

“The Sheriff’s Little Matchmaker” by Carrie Nichols is a quick-paced and sexy story with characters you’d like to have living next door.

Sasha Honeycutt is starting a new phase of her life by moving to Rose Creek, Texas. She’s an elementary school teacher and teaches second grade.
Remy Fontenot is the town sheriff and his daughter, Evie, is in Sasha’s class.

One dare, far from home, will have lasting consequences for Remy and Sasha – the kind that could lead to a wonderful future, but only if Sasha can put aside her fears and take a risk on another man with a dangerous career.

Sheriff Remy Fontenot!! Hot, hot, hot!! Panty melting hot. All alpha and bossy, but the sweetest father to his little girl. What a gem she is and she is indeed quite the little matchmaker.
Sasha Honeycutt shares one smoking hot kiss while in New Orleans with friends who dare her to loosen up. "Go kiss a stranger." So she stepped outside her carefully constructed safe zone and kissed the hottest man she's ever put her eyes on. Easy. But she sure didn't forget that kiss.

Carrie Nichols is a new author for me. I found The Sheriff's Little Matchmaker to be a cute enjoyable story. The story-line of teacher and single parent hitting it off is not a new plot but it is well done thanks to some wonderful characterization by the author.

Sasha Honeycutt is a single teacher who loves her work but is also in need of a personal life. Tragedy in the past has her living life on the side lines. Rose Creek, Texas is her new start. Haven’ we all wanted and needed a new start or b

I didn't see the reason why the conflict at the end of the book even happened. It was a big let down for me and it felt unnecessary to a point where when I think of the book I get a bad feeling about it. That is a shame because I liked the rest of the book. Remy and Sasha have a relationship that builds slowly and steadily even if tries to resist it. Sasha is a prim teacher who isn't interested in getting into another relationship after how the last one turned out. But it seems one of her students are on a mission to match make with her Sheriff father.

This was such a cutesy book. I loved seeing that connection between the two and how the daughter was trying her best to get them to get together. Thing was I tended to wonder what happened to the little match maker who was setting these two together. She seems to be around in the beginning and
