Oh I loved this book.

The main characters were easy to like, Juliana was a great female lead and Eoghan is going onto my book boyfriend list.

I loved the plot, the side characters, the slow burn romance that had me eagerly turning the pages...

This is my favourite book by Ellie. Highly recommended!

I loved Eoghan! He's my dreamy Irish lad with a heart of gold.
I loved seeing him fall for Julie. His protectiveness over his lass... *swoon*
I wish they hadn't fought their feelings for so long but then there wouldn't really be a story, right?

I fell for Liam too. I'm really hoping that we get a spin off series for the boys of "Stormy Crickets." *cough* HINT HINT, ELLIE! *cough*

Things to know:
*Roommates/friends to lovers.
*Eoghan is pronounced like Owen.
*Takes place in Ireland. (You're sold right t

This book was a fun adventure. The heroine is moving from California to Ireland for a job. Who doesn’t love Ireland as a setting? I love to travel. Give books that take me to different destinations. There is culture and language thrown in. I love the feeling of learning a little about a different place. The heroine likes to work hard, but enjoy her life. She wishes to travel and loves photography. She was easy to relate to. The hero is the rock of his family. He owns a local pub and loves to coo ...more

Ellie Malouff has knocked it out of the park yet again!!! The Love Overseas series has a permanent place among my favorite romances. I was hooked after book one, smitten after book two, and blown away by book three!

Once again, as a reader, I felt completely immersed in a foreign culture, and I am in absolute awe of Malouff’s worldbuilding prowess. I don’t remember the last time I read anything that truly made me feel as though I was THERE with the characters. I don’t have an ear for accents, bu

This novel! :grips heart: I just absolutely loved it from the first line to the very last. Talk about a book that grips you emotionally. This is the story of Julie who is transferred to Ireland from America for a new job. She meets a sexy taxi driver Eoghen. Except he is just a taxi driver for his family that day. He really is a pub owner. Instantly they click and he becomes her lifesaver in this new to her country. Especially when her new boss Aiden becomes totally not who she thought he was. T ...more

Another beauty from Ellie Malouff. As with her previous two novels in this series, the escapism factor was near perfect. The descriptions of Ireland were stunning. This locale was new for me. But Malouff is a pro at pulling you in no matter where, and truly making you feel like you’re there walking the street alongside the characters. Julie gave me the full newbie Ireland experience.

The parts that truly hooked me were when Julie and Eoghan became roommates and proper friends. Loved their chemist

This story will make you want to drop everything and book a flight to Ireland. The detailed attention to the story's location, made you feel completely immersed into the culture. Eoghan's character was so well written that I actually missed him when I finished the book. He felt completely real and he's a sweetheart.

Him, along with his fantastic group of friends, makes you want to be right there at his pub, hanging out with them. His Cork pride is so infectious, I went in search of a pint of Murp

You can never go wrong with a hot Irishman as one of the main characters and his name Eoghan says it all! Julie has finally managed to land her career job in Ireland a dream that has come true. When she and Eoghan her roommate they agree that they will only be friends. Agreements can be broken under the right circumstances and going by the heated chemistry between Julie and Eoghan it's just a matter of time! This story will grab your attention right from the beginning and have you wanting your o ...more

Ellie has such a way with writing the most beautiful love stories. I loved this book as much as I loved all her others. I didn’t want to do anything except read this book once I started! Eoghan was everything a book boyfriend should be - sweet, loving, not an a-hole, and dripping with sex. He was perfect & his ups & downs with Juliana was heartbreakingly beautiful. Loved this book & now I’m sad it’s over! ...more

This book has some of my favorite things so I was hooked from beginning to end! There's ambition, music, dancing, a sexy Irishman (several, in fact) and WHISKEY. Everything is better with sexy men and whiskey. The journey between Eoghan and Julie was heartwarming, thrilling, and adorable from the first page. I couldn't get enough! This is a great read that would inspire anyone to pursue their truest hopes and dreams, and seek redemption for their biggest downfalls. I loved it and can't wait to r ...more

Ellie Malouff knocked it out of the park again with this one.

Julie always dreamed or traveling the world, so she jumped at the chance to re-locate to Ireland for her job. She meets Eoghen, Irish native, and they hit it off right from the start. They become fast friends and Eoghen offers Julie to rent his spare bedroom above the pub that he owns. I love the slow-burn romance, it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more.

I really enjoyed this book. Can't wait for the next one.

So much more than a simple love story, this book was an amazing blend of discovery, tension, and satisfaction

Be still my heart, this story was amazing. Five stars just isn’t sufficient to convey its awesomeness. Ireland’s tourism board should be promoting the crap out of this book, because by the time I was done reading it I was ready to hop on a plane to Cork, if for nothing else than the beautiful scenery and a Guinness. Or a Murphy’s. I don’t care. And I don’t even like beer. That’s how good

Charming protagonists

Eoghan (pronounced Owen) is the first-born son in a troubled Irish family. He bears the responsibility of the world on his strong shoulders, but it is lonely and discouraging. Happily he has a host of good friends and owns a successful pub in the central city of Cork.

Julianna/Julie’s tech firm has been transferred her to Cork, Ireland from San Diego. She is excited to be reaping the rewards of her education and hard work. Julie is eager to embrace her new homeland and all t

Happy sigh. This novel is everything you want in a romance. Beautiful setting (what IS it about Ireland?!), sexy man, sweet heroine, great chemistry, perfect pace, not too much drama, and no dragging. My heart felt light while reading it; I was pulled right into a love story I found joy in watching unfold. I will be coming back to this story again and again, and I can't wait to see where else the author takes us in this series!

Get ready to spend a couple days in Ireland while you read this book!! Ireland is one my favorite places to travel to. I was drawn in immediately with the setting and the adventure. This was a romance that was so relatable, I felt like I knew these characters. This is the first book I have read by this author and it won’t be my last. I enjoyed the fact that we got an amazing love story and the chance to lose myself in a different part of the world. Sweet and angst filled!! Loved it.

Pulling at MY heart!

So wonderfully written! This one was a great story... love at first site, the pub life, misunderstandings, forgiveness and of course Ireland! Makes me want to visit. I have already found the love of my life but I wouldn’t mind sharing another adventure in Ireland with him... ❤️
Ellie Malouff dishes out yet another sweet, simmering romance. A complete stunner, that's gonna leave you wanting more of a certain sexy Irish Lad!! Ellie made me fall in lurv with Ireland once again with her AH-Mazing writing skills, her vivid picturesque imagination..

Eoghan and Juliana gonna pull at your heart with all their might, you won't be able to stop from falling in love with them..

BIGGEST BOOK HANGOVER EVER! I actually read Pull at My Heart a few weeks ago. I inhaled this book in like two days which is not an easy feat in my bananas life. But I could not put it down. The title is so damn fitting. Eoghan and Julie pulled at my heart like no other. They freaking yanked it out of my chest. I wanted to write a review as soon as I finished reading but I couldn’t find the words that would do this book justice. The imagery was so vivid, I felt like I was watching a movie. I coul ...more
