This latest installment in the delightful Seasons of Alaska series contains TWO of my favorite tropes: friends-to-more and fake-relationship-to-real… so you know I was grinning and swooning a lot during this sweet romance!

I love Iris and Flynn together – their friendship, the emotions & attraction simmering between them, and the romantic sparks that start to fly as their story progresses. When Flynn’s voice gets all husky and he can hardly form coherent words? The scene while shopping for brides

I haven’t read any other “Seasons of Alaska” books or any books by this author, but I found it easy to read this book so I would consider it a stand alone story.

I loved the setting of this book-a small town in Alaska. The author was so descriptive with all the sights and activities that the characters did, I felt like I was right there with them.

I really wanted to like the main character Iris, but for most of the book I found myself frustrated with her because of her lack of interest in her home

In the Doctor’s Arms was a sweet and clean novel that dealt with many issues, including the lingering effects of bullying, the importance of family, the art of forgiveness, and much more. The author handled these issues while infusing plenty of lighthearted moments and a wonderful second chance romance into the story.

This novel is book six in the Seasons of Alaska series and I was impressed that I was able to jump right into this book without any confusion, even though I have not read any of the

In the Doctor’s Arms is the sixth installment from Carol Ross’s series, Seasons of Alaska. I have not read the previous books in the series and did not feel lost by not reading them. So, in my opinion, this book can be read as a stand alone. However, I would love to go and read them to see what had happened prior.
I enjoyed In the Doctor’s Arms. Iris and Flynn’s story is so sweet and heartwarming. I loved their chemistry together. I found myself giggling at some scenes. There was an element of s

Alaska has always piqued my interest, so of course, I can never resist the opportunity to visit through a book. The sixth Seasons of Alaska book from Carol Ross, In the Doctor’s Arms takes place in small-town Alaska, with plenty of outdoorsy fun, and I enjoyed the trip.

Dr. Flynn Ramsey and Iris James have been friends since high school, always with a spark of attraction. But their relationship is complicated, to say the least. After a messy divorce, Flynn returns to their hometown with the in

"In the Doctor's Arms" follows Iris and Flynn on their path to romance. Iris is a triplet, and she was heavily bullied and made fun of growing up. It left her with some complexes and a need to get away from the small town in Alaska where she lived. She is back in town but only temporarily for her brother's wedding. She has a PhD in economics and is dreaming of a job in a DC think tank. Flynn has been her friend (and crush) since high school.

Flynn is now a resident in his grandfather's practice a

Iris James is the youngest of six kids and a 1/3 of a set of triplets. She is very different from the rest of her siblings who are more outgoing and adventurous and have always been and more so than she will ever be. Iris sees stopping back home for a visit in Alaska as a brief stay on her way to her dream big city job. What she did not count on was reconnecting with Dr. Flynn Ramsey who was her high school crush.

Flynn has had a rough upbringing and made a mistake in marrying the wrong woman. H

It's always a pleasure to travel back to Rankins, Alaska with Carol Ross, and this trip was especially sweet! She presented us with a character who adores her family, but hates everything they stand for and finds herself feeling guilty and like she doesn't belong because of it. She's tried everything, but Iris is just a disaster and it drives her crazy. Reconnecting with Flynn has her opening her eyes to magical possibilities, but can they find the strength to overcome the adversity they are goi ...more

This was a nice, clean non-Christian book by Harlequin. Which is actually surprising for me. In the past, the few books I've read from them had me giggling at certain scenes. Or even better, reading them aloud to husband who told me to hush. Problem with that is that he thinks that ALL the books I read are like that. They aren't.

Anyway, the story is really quite sweet and charming. The characters were likable and believable. I have not read any of the previous books in the series so I'm pleased

Ms. Ross brings us book #6 in Seasons of Alaska—❤️❤️

I haven’t read this series in order and I don’t feel lost. Characters are great.
When Iris comes home for her brothers wedding she’s got to be around Dr. Flynn Ramsey the man who’s she’s known since high school who never gave a second glance her way. She wasn’t popular, but they were still friends. Now they have a lot of wedding things to do for the his brother and Ally.

Flynn will do anything in his power to get Iris to stay.

love the story, if you have read any of the other books you get to meet all of the family and other. if you have not no worry it is a stand alone book, Iris feels she is not as good as the others in the family, but maybe that could change. she has come back home for awhile as she looks for a job, she feels uneasy about being back, she had a ruff childhood and teen years from some of the girls in school. Flynn is a doctor now, he has always like Iris but did not do any thing about it. can he help ...more

Give me one of Carol's books and I have a hard time putting it down. This is no exception. I love this story for this is a 2nd chance and a first time love rolled together. I loved Dr Flynn Ramsey his character is very powerful. Iris James is from a large family of very active people. This is a story of compassion, understanding and love. For Iris was part of triplets. She is a unique character that some of you are going to be able to relate to. I loved the action and compassion shown in this st ...more

I really enjoyed this one. I loved the small town setting in Alaska. The could picture the beautiful landscape with the vivid descriptions. I really liked the characters and Iris' family. I felt for Iris because she feels like odd man out when it comes to her adventurous family. She puts unnecessary expectations on herself, but she's in for surprise in this book. Flynn is ready to make his move, but he may be a little too late. This book had a very unexpected twist that had the emotions flowing ...more

In the Doctor's Arms is the 6th book in the Seasons of Alaska but even though I had not read the other books in the series, that certainly did not keep me from enjoying this one. I found it fairly easy to become familiar with the characters and the back story.

It was easy to love both Iris and Flynn and quickly get caught up in their storyline. I thought they were both relatable, their relationships with the other characters were natural as were their conversations. The descriptive writing by Ms.

Can the one who got away be the everlasting love of Iris life. when Flynn walked out of her life she thought she couldn't love again but Flynn walked back and now Iris realize second chance at love is better than no love at all.

A well written perfectly paced story pulling you in from the start. This is how Iris and Flynn get together and what Iris has to overcome and deal with her fears as it turns out. The Alaska life and how the family and friends are there for each other.

I love reading about Alaska! And this book definitely satisfied! I want to read the rest of this series! The family unit was well written, along with the added family coming in as marriages occurred.
