Victor Spoil, the supervillain who is more like a superhero, is back for another turn. He still is not comfortable with being a supervillain, even though he has two villains as parents. he has decided that he wants to be a librarian and heads off to librarian summer camp. It turns out to be an interesting summer as the librarians he works with are part of a secret society looking to bring order and complete control to the world.
Before he knows it, he is back in the middle of a battle to save the world. The question is still whether he is a hero of a villain ... and the world's future may rest in his hands through that decision. This was really a fun read. The author has a great sense of humor that makes the reader want to continue turning the pages. It is a quick and very entertaining read.

Third book about Victor. This time he heads for summer librarian's camp to find some quiet and explore this career option. He's struggling to control his powers and wants to live like a "normal" person. Plenty of humor involved as he discovers he needs to be who he is and that he can find ways to control his powers.
Fry spins a delightful story about yet another disguised Supervillain who wants to take over the world. Love the point that no one thinks beyond that goal to what to do next. He continues to develop his characters and interweave their stories.

I highly recommend this series of books.
I bought this from Amazon.ca by pre-ordering it. My grandson enjoyed the 1st book in the series so much that he wanted the next book in the series right away. I did order the 2nd one right away & he loved that one too. We had to wait a little while before the 3rd one to be available, but it was so worth the wait. It arrived on schedule & he read it in 4 days while also reading another book, the Demon Dentist. He's 8 yrs old but his school said he has the reading level of a 4th grade student, but that was a year ago. He's already asked for the next one so I hope James Patterson has Michael Fry's butt to the fire already. Shawn can't wait & I know since I'm the one who has gotten him all of the other books in the series. He reads almost every night before bed & after school if he's managed to get himself grounded from all of his electronics (which is why I buy the hardcover versions).

Super cute story about Victor Spoil, a super villain, who is afraid his powers aren’t controllable. Because of this fear he makes a deal with the librarians to steal a chip for them to use to take control of everyone on the planet and take away their superpowers and their ability to choose. Can Victor Spoil save the planet again? Loved the book. Story had some good layered meaning to it. Both kids and adults will enjoy it.

Victor Spoil decides to hang up his cape, and seek a low-key job that's less stressful than saving the world. He takes a position at the local library, but soon finds himself trying to stop the plans of world domination by the head librarian and her minions.

This is a funny, imaginative story filled with wild antics, wilder villains, and a plot that squiggles all the way through the book. It is liberally illustrated with clever cartoons that are worked into the mechanics of every scene.

I love, love, love this book. Then again, I wrote it. A lot of cool ideas in this one. Evil librarians. Sentient robots and of course, pie. Mike-Bob says check it out.
