This fun alphabetical tour highlights some of America’s most well-known landmarks, inventions, events, and people, ranging from the Ferris wheel to the Grand Canyon and from July Fourth to Martin Luther King, Jr. Irene Chan's bright, bold, and colorful art will delight the youngest of readers as they learn the alphabet and explore some Amercan highlights. A is for Abraham Lincoln. B is for Baseball...
I feel like this is a politically correct America ABC book, it is random with Holidays, places, people and things. Don't worry they did include baseball, you know cause what's more American than baseball. I did like all the pictures.
Some odd choices in this book, like B for Baseball when A is Abe Lincoln, and P for peanut butter and jelly. I feel those could be better represented. My 2 yr old and 4 yr old mostly enjoyed it though.
