Sue Hall grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Stanford University. She graduated in 1973 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Biology.
She has traveled to both Mexico and Nicaragua on medical missions with Los Medicos Voladores (The Flying Doctors) and with Salvadores de la Salud, a division of Frater-Nica, a Nicaraguan aid organization based in Northern California.
Besides her love for writing, she enjoys sailing and kayaking.
