It's a case of mistaken identity when Wade Wilson, the regeneratin' degenerate you know as DEADPOOL, kills an American superspy on a mission to stop the deadly terrorist agency called GORGON! Now, it's up to Wade to complete his victim's mission as only he can – with excessive violence, an accelerated healing factor, and maybe, just maybe, a few laughs along the way.

Still it was just a build up issue, and that was ok.. I'm gonna be buying the next issue just to see where it goes, hoping it'll be funnier and more interesting.
Wow. Another hilarious introduction for Deadpool a la Christopher Hastings. I know this is only a mini-series (which is sort of how I prefer my Deadpool plots - no offense to the long standing ones, I just love how crazy the short ones can get) but I think it'll be a fun run while it lasts. This issue is full of the usual Deadpool jokes, Christopher Hasting's humor, and a liberal dash of jokes the expense of James Bond. In short: it's perfect. Ever wondered what Deadpool would be like when he had access to super crazy tech like the stuff James Bond is always carrying around? Well, wonder no more! Though if you expected anything other than pure chaos then I don't know what's wrong with you. No offense, but this is Deadpool we're talking about. And before anybody worries: the little horse is fine. And apparently stinking cute. Can I have one?
deadpool has been my bestfriend since I was 13. granted having an anti-hero mercenary who makes inappropriate jokes and has a chaotic neutral moral compass isn't the kind of bestfriend I should have as a 13 year old, but to this day, whenever my depressive episodes got bad and the world was going to hell and i was crying myself to sleep thinking I'm alone and tired and upset, reading his comics make me laugh. make me feel less alone. and I will forever be thankful to marvel, the artists and the writers, for giving me this.
My first time dipping my toe into the Marvel Unlimited app/interface allowed me to check out some Deadpool comics, starting with this one. It's as fun as you might expect from Deadpool, with this issue based around him hired to take out a man who is actually a secret agent, only for Deadpool to then have his own chance at that 00-lifestyle.
