A quick, compelling story! It's been a while since I've read a reverse harem story, but this story was entertaining and kept my attention. We're introduced to Kara Matthews and due to unexpected events she's rescued by Vance, Elijah, and Jesse. I'm eager to see what happens between these four in the next book.

Demons
Storyline was ok. Lost me a couple of times but overall it was an interesting plot. *** spoiler ***
You have a tough girl with an attitude from being an an unhealthy environment that gets picked to sacrifice but gets rescued by three demons and then finds out about demons and how she has demon blood... she’s the the key to opening the gates of hell. I don’t know... the guys don’t seem all that demon like and then the how I had a tough life but some have had it worst saying kind of makes her seem whiny to me. Anyways.... read was ok.

My first time reading this author and I have to say.. I'm really digging her writing style. It's fun, fresh and quirky with a strong heroine and three sexy demons to go along with it. I was in the mood for a short PNR, and although the plot took a really weird turn at the end that I'm not sure I liked the direction it went, I'm still looking forward to reading the next book when it comes out.

Kara goes to a Halloween party that she didn't want to go to to begin with only to find herself being targeted as the sacrifice in some weird ritual. Just when it looks like things are going south she is saved three hot guys that just happen to be demons. What follows is intriguing as they attempt to convince her they are not evil while she fights her attraction. Great novella length paranormal reverse harem story. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Sweet mother of God. I'm so ridiculously in love with this story. Even though it's a shorter story I cant wait to see the world being built. Kara is abused, yes. But she doesnt let it define who she is. Shes a strong determined woman who knows her worth. My personal favorite are the men. Vance, Jesse and Elijah. Swoon. 3 different personalities that compliment each other well. They make me swoon. And they compliment Kara well, even if she doesnt quite realize it. The men defend her against attacks they dont quite understand and she has to take a journey with the mens help to hell to figure out exactly why shes being attacked. Well done. Detailed yet interesting at the same time. I am dying for the next book to read more about Kara and my guys. Yep. I claimed them. They're my book boyfriends

I really enjoyed Trust the Dark. It is a short read, but packed with oh so much goodness. Kara is a fun female lead. I really liked her spunk and her reaction to finding out that demons exist, was quick but refreshing. Sometimes the characters go on and on with denial. Glad she didn't, I felt she had just the right amount of disbelief. The guys, with their different personalities, have great chemistry with Kara. But they do share in common an alpha personality. I feel like in TTD we are getting to know the characters and a hint of what is to come. We know that Kara is different, but human. We also know that demons want her because they think she is the Key. There is a cliffy, but it is after it delivers the set up for book two. Over all I think Trust the Dark is the great start of a new series.

Alright, Kara is my new bestie. The mouth on that girl makes me proud! I love how absolutely fierce she is, and she doesn't hold back when someone upsets her. She also doesn't let fear rule her, instead she funnels her fear into anger and pushes forward. This is a relatively quick read and I would have loved a lot more. Although it is the first of a series it doesn't end on a massive cliffhanger which is much appreciated. We only get a small taste, I mean introduction, to Jesse, Vance and Elijah but we are given the impression that they are a force to be reckoned with. I seriously can't wait for the next book, and to see what happens with Kara, her guys, and the new information she gets about her past!

A.M. Hardin is quickly becoming one of my go to authors! I am really enjoying her writing and imagination. I have now read most of her books and I love to see her writing grow and develop as she continues to give us great reads! I like Kara. She is a great character with a lot of personality , I feel this makes her more relatable and realistic. With a rough upbringing she struggles with trust and being close to others. Her plans after she turns 18 don't go as thought they would and It doesn't help that her world is suddenly flipped upside down when secrets are revealed. She unexpectedly makes new friends and she definitely has her hands full with Elijah, Jessie and Vance! I do wish this book was a little bit longer, although I don't feel that it took away from the story at all.

I was recommended this book in a group and, since I needed something to read and was bored, I read the blurb and was so excited to read this book. A reverse harem, with demons and a sassy heroine? Sign me right up! Although short, this story was pack full of an amazing characters, humor, darkness, and a promise for a unique series that I'm going to eat up every time they're released.
I highly recommend! Again, go into this book knowing it's not a full-length novel, but that it doesn't end a cliffhanger either. It was perfect for the price and I can't wait to see what's going to happen next! I fully intend to get the next book as soon as it releases, which is in a few weeks, so I'd jump in on this series now while there's not too many books out yet.

Kara goes to a party sees a friend from one her class they say something that alarms her she goes to leave then wakes up on table saying she was their sacrifice to get back home after arguing 3 most popular boys end up saving her but they aint what she thought they were. Kara comes from abusive family. On her birthday the boys come to her rescue again then she gets attacked and has to figure out why she is this so called "key". This book is a interesting read once I started i couldn't stop im can't wait to see wherw this story goes.

Easy to get drawn into
This is an amazing novella. It drew me in from the first page. The main character has had a hard life. While at a party her life seems to get a little more complicated. Now after finding out that the world isn't exactly as she thought it was, she must deal with some startling facts about who she is and what that means about her existence with the help of 3 hot men. I can't wait for the continuation of this story in the future as this one pulled me in and left me begging for more.

No spoilers included, well I’m going to try not to give any away that is.
This book was awesome but the ending was kinda brutal, yes there’s a cliffhanger waiting at the end.
But all in all this story was a grab you and don’t let you go kind of story.
A.M. Hardin definitely knows how to pull her readers in and get them hooked because I can’t wait until the second book of this series is out.
So yes I most definitely do recommend this book because I absolutely loved it and I guarantee everyone else will too!

This author has done it again. This book captures your attention and keeps it until the last word. Kara is in a bit of trouble at a Halloween party when she is helped out by Jesse, Vance and Elijah. The three guys are instantly attracted to her and feel the need to protect her. Short intro but will keep your attention and interest into the next book. I love the honest wording used by the characters. Made them more realistic. Steam 6/10 * Sweetness 7/10 * RH * Slow burn * 1st POV * Cliffhanger

Awesome demon story. New twist on demons and humans, deals and all the secrets that usually come with demons LOL. Kara is a feisty and strong female main character. Vance, Elijah and Jesse are intriguing to say the least. I really enjoyed this intro to this new series and that is it is a shorter story and that each installment is going to be coming a little faster. I can't wait to read the next one to find out where Kara and the guys story is going to go.

What an amazing novella! The first book in this series is the perfect size for a great binge read while still packed with adventure. I am still amazed at all the story and information that the author managed to fit in. The main character is a tough cookie who has the strength, stubbornness, and mouth to stand up against anyone. The writing is so great and really helps with the flow of the story and more easily pulls you in. I am very eagerly awaiting for 2!

This was such a good novella. The MC Kara is spunky and sassy and really brings life to the story. I'm interested in the budding romances and how they play out. I can wait for the next book. I would definitely recommend if you like paranormal and RH. Seems like this is going to be a steamy series. I recieved a free copy of this book for a honest review.

The good, the bad... and Hell
When senior year feels like Hell... and then you actually have to go there: that sucks. I love this little twist and the short novella. I look forward to the second where we see what truly happens. Was a great intro to our FMC and her three sexy demons.

I love The character Kara! She’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind and she doesn’t hold anything back. This book is an excellent start and layout for the series to come. I love a girl who has a demon on her side but to have three makes it even more entertaining. Then to add some secrets and some chemistry, just made the book more appealing and hard to put down!

Good, interesting story !
It’s quite a bit shorter than most rh books I’ve read but it’s only book1 and the story is well written and very interesting. I’m starting book 2 now. Hope to have more rh type scenes and be a bit longer. Overall, book1 was good and I’m continuing to read the series.

This was an awesome novella prepping us for what’s to come. We meet a FMC that has had a hard life but has continued to be strong. She draws in three demons that have a thing for her. We learn a little bit about what makes her so special. I can’t wait to learn more about Kara and her guys.

I am a fan of A. M. Hardin’s writing. This story is another example of her ability to create a great storyline and wonderfully developed characters. I can’t wait for the next book to see what will happen next to Kara and her demons.

A seed has been planted by me reading this series! This is more of a novella start rather than a full length start. Yes, it does leave on a cliffhanger, so I'm guessing that's how many authors get you to be on the edge of your seat position so you're dying to read more.

I loved the pacing of the story, and how we get introduced to Kara's guys. I love how Kara speaks her mind and isn't afraid to share her feelings. This book ended on a cliffhanger and I desperately need to know what happens next!

Short but amazing
OMG so good!!!! I loved Kara . She was so strong dealing with her home life. She was sarcastic and funny. Everything I love in the Fmc. My only issue was it was to short. I couldn't put it down and just wanted more. I can't wait for the next book.

A girl and her demons
This is an interesting story about a girl in high school finding out that reality isn’t what she always thought. Not much action happens between her and the guys but it was set up in this book. Book 2 should be good.

Good, but not my favorite. Simply because the feel is not there and the way the heroine act is not something that I expect. Definitely has its potential to be a great series but for me, it's a bit off.

This book is short and to the point. It is sort of a tease. I loved this book and I seriously need more of the story! Kara is feisty and mouthy, but she also knows how to pick her battles. I need the next one.
