A clever little book that gives you a clue and a picture of the animal's tail. The following page reveals the animal and sets up the next tale. Enjoyable. In the library rotation.

I had to buy a used copy of this as it was a favorite Kindergarten read aloud for many years and has been long out of print. Easy to pair with Simms Tabak, or Steve Jenkins.

From Inara's mom: This was quite fun. Inara and I enjoyed guessing what animal was being described. I had never heard of a xenurus.
