This could have been a 4 star book except for two main flaws.

First, there were so many missing words. Small ones like “it” which made reading difficult at times. I could not figure out if it was writing style, poor writing or non-existent editing. Then the typos. So many typos.

I love this kind of book generally, so I hung in there hoping it would get better. I love good space operas and this one is excellent. It grabbed me from the start and would not let go. I love the characters, Melinda is a strong female favorite. The action is perfect with a great pace. Characters and story is real enough for me to get totally in the story! I cannot wait for the next book.
