Mr.Bump is so funny!
Sarah
Mr. Bump is my doppelgänger! Covered in bruises, barely able to function due to his propensity for accidents, Mr. Bump is in desperate search of a low-risk job. Alas! No matter what profession he attempts he still manages to harm himself. At long last he pursues a career as a knight. After all, surely covered in armor, he will remain safe. Think so, eh? (No, I am not Canadian but I have visited on occasion.) Peruse this Roger Hargreaves little book, the best of the collection in my clumsy opinio ...more

I absolutely loved these Mr Men and Little Miss books. I remember getting them from my granny every week. There was so much from these simple characters, I remember filling my little bookshelf with all these books making sure I had got them all in right order. I wish I still had these books but somehow most of them got lost with many house moves or my mum gave the rest away. If I ever have kids, I will make sure they get the chance to experience these wonderful, colourful books.

Ok, I'm shallow and I totally went there. I bought the book because the title sent my mind to the gutter. And also because it had glitter on it. I was in Hamley's and I was totally acting like a kid again. So what.

You need one of those stories every now and then.

Overall, I really did think this was cute and adorable. As I'm sure I've found myself wanting to be in protective gear plenty of times.

A fun adventure for Mr Bump. He is fed up of getting hurt so decides to become a knight and be protected by all the wonderful armour. He reads a book on how to be a knight, gets his armour and sets off on his adventures. It doesn't go quite as planned but he ends up with minimal bumps!! Fun and very enjoyable! ...more
