Good bio I read a long time ago. It inspired a long term interest in Mountain Men and the western expansion. Bridger was a great example of common man become leader. I love the outdoors and this fed into that.

One of the first books I ever owned, I simply adored it. I havn't read it recently however. Mostly I read it in elementary and 6th grade.
