A story about survivor's guilt that was poignant and sweet.

A hero who dies on the battlefield of Culloden has been living in a sort of purgatory when a witch sends him to present-day Maine to stop the heroine from committing suicide. The lone survivor of a tragic accident that killed her family, and a worthless fiance' who walked away soon after, her survivor's guilt has become too much to bear.

Despite being part of a multi-author series/world that, by my estimation, is eleventy billion books long, the author does a great job of bringing new readers up

Struan and Fee

Once upon a time a Highlander named Syrian came upon a lass named Fiona. He was known as the Storyteller. His magical words, string to her to.form a harmony of sentences. His gift miraculously weave a web of fairies and lore - healing Fiona. Words can leave scars or words can heal or pave their way to a heart. Extraordinary story.... "Someone needs to.hear your story". So a story is weaved on a battlefield and won in two hearts- just beautiful.

Finally! An Excellent Story!

I have no.complaints! This story was told with attention to the Storytellers life and death. I love the way he appeared in her life, and how the meeting made sense! Her response was genuine and he never tried to hide who he was. We got so much resolution to their story and it made sense that they would be drawn to one another so quickly.

All of these stories are great in each of their own way. This is one that I cried over. It's about holding on to survivor's guilt and not moving on with your life, or in Struan's case, moving on in death.

Story spun by a really good storyteller!

A clean, dramatic read that isn't afraid to touch on some of the darker, harder sides of life without bogging down in the despair; showing hope lives even when we think all is lost. Well done!

Hope for the future

What a beautiful, sensitive addition to the series. Death and life. Despair and hope. Two sensitive souls that find strength together. I could not put the book down until I had read the last word.
