The main two ideas are. All religions prohibit usury. Usury is exponential while natures growth is classical...cancer is when cells divide exponentially eventually killing the body and the host. Our financial system is cancerous. Money should be taxed so they won't be sitting and accumulating interest but rather moving, constantly moving. ...more

The author didn't understand economics and it was too politicized.

"Capitalism is a cancerous".

She'd rather have people slave of work, that people saved by automation.

The Gesell part and the experiment with the coupons was the only interesting part.

A peek into what the world would look like if we abolish interest, the mother of all evil. I have always known that ignorance is bliss. Now I know why knowledge is pain. This is the sort of book that renders everything around you useless. You just wanna climb atop a mountain and shout at people to destroy the compound interest-based monetary system until they label you a madman and laugh at you.
