Blowback
This book was fast and easy to read. It was definitely much better than the first Bear, point of view, book. Bear seemed a lot more loose in this book and it made for easier reading.
Poor Bear goes from the sun in St. Lucia to the cold in North Korea in the span of a few days. Chasing after a lead given to him by a nemesis named Thorne.
Plenty of action and adventure to go around. I liked the mental scenery in this book. It was well written.
During the book and at the end of the book , Thorne keeps asking Bear, How his friend , Jack is doing? Bear never answers of course, because he wouldn't tell him even if he knew. But, he doesn't know. Does Bear catch on? Does he catch that Thorne might have done something to Jack? I don't know that he did. I'm just speculating, of course. That's the big question for the next book, I think. And, I look forward to it.
I think Mr. Ryan got a lot of flack on his last Bear POV book, I think he did a splendid job with this one. Congratulations! I expect the third book will be even better.
