(🇫🇷 ⤵️)🎄Christmas came early this year🎄with this lovely ARC that I received from the author in exchange for an honest review.

💭Haven’t we all dreamed about 🎅🏻Santa when we were little, thinking of him as an old man with a fat belly and a white beard, giving us lovely presents... Well in Santa’s village, Santa is rather a young attractive man and he’s more of a “ladies” dream.
📍He’s NOT a tattooed badass hero: he’s mature, gentle and honest... and he’s also a hot Scot❗️

I was given an ARC by the author in exchange for an honest review.

First, let me just say that I rarely laugh out loud when reading books, but I did with this one, and often! Ivy is absolutely adorable, and her character is so well fleshed out and so human, that I instantly felt like I could be friends with her! In fact, all of the characters are written so beautifully that the reader gets pulled right into this world that Marie Landry creates. And speaking of worlds.....Santa's Village and a boo

Going into this I was a little hestitant because I’ve never read a holiday book before (except a YA one when I was a teenage and my lord, was that ever bad). Holiday romances have the stereotype, to me at least, of being way too cheesy. Don’t get me wrong, cheesy can be good, but we all have our limits and with the holidays it can go overboard real quick. I am happy to report that this book was the perfect amount of holi

This was a cute and saucy read! Only You by Marie Landry is perfect for the upcoming holidays. It keeps you nice and warm with all the romance going on. I really enjoyed this book. Ivy was a great character with a very big heart. Then we have our Hot Scot, Hugh. These two had a lot of chemistry. There were a few twists and turns. Some characters ..ahem Celia.. lol were not favorable. But that is okay. If you are looking for a great fall/winter read, this one may be it for you!

what i liked most about only you was that it was more than just two people meeting and falling in love with a couple of obstacles in the way before they say the three magic words “i love you”. even though ivy loves what she’s doing, she has been feeling unmotivated and bored with her work. however, between finding another job and losing the salary her current job brings her, she’d rather stay. next, ivy’s relationship with celia had always been hostile. even though they are cousins, their intera ...more

Only you is an amazing, happy and a feel good book by Marie Landry. Only you is the story of an independent girl Ivy Sima, who has all her shit together but whereas on the other hand she finds it very difficult to cop up with the recent changes in her life. And that’s when she meets this extremely drool-worthy Hot Scot, Hugh Mackinnon who happens to be her new boss at her part-time job.

The story revolves around Ivy, her friends and her everyday life. The first thing that’s very akin with t

This was my first book by this author, and I really enjoyed it!

Ivy is having a rough time lately. She's feeling stagnated in her marketing job, and her best friend's promotion at that same job, and her bestie's new boyfriend, have caused their time together to be less. Also, her "cousin", a family friend and her current roommate, is driving her insane, since she can't seem to keep a job, and has a snarky remark about EVERYTHING. Ivy isn't sure what she's going to do, but she feels like something

I received Only You by Marie Landry from the author herself and her team in exchange for an honest review! This was a really cute, funny and uplifting romance story with some Christmas cheer sprinkled in. Need a good heartwarming story for the holidays? This one's for you.
This story is all from Ivy's point of view. I generally liked her character and found her entertaining. We have a mutual love of books and reading so that's a plus. I also appreciated that Landry mixed her personality with a g

A sweet romance to get you in the mood for Christmas and make your heart melt. Ivy lives her life trying to find her place in the world without her parents. Her roommate is her cousin and her days are spent wondering why she ever said yes in the first place. With her best friend in a relationship she feels alone and wanting the same thing. After she accepts her cousins deal of working in Santa’s Village her life starts to change and brighten up. There sh

Only You was absolutely delightful! I have to admit, I had no idea it was a holiday-themed romance until I started reading it. But you know what? It was exactly what I needed in my life. For the last couple weeks, I’ve been trying to get in the mood for the holidays but I’ve been resistant for some reason. The holiday spirit Only You inspired was very real. Now I want to indulge in all the Christmas things.

I'm a fan of Marie and have read several of her other books, so when the opportunity came up to read Only You I didn't hesitate.

Ivy lives alone and has a full time job which she enjoys, but now she has her cousin Celia, coming to stay while she gets herself sorted with a job and somewhere to stay. Ivy isn't impressed with the new arrangements, her cousin and family aren't the most likeable people, and Ivy sees this more as a duty than actually wanting it. Pretty soon Ivy gets frustrated with Cel

Only You was a very heart-warming, contemporary romance read. A nice book to curl up with as the temperatures go down and the holidays start to creep upon us for sure. Ivy is currently in an okay job but is stable and somewhat happy about her life, except for the distraction of her roommate who keeps getting fired from each and every job. She tries to help Celia the best she can, but it's hard when you're basically mothering a younger woman down on luck.

When Ivy agrees to work as a part-time elf at Santa's Village in order to help her cousin and roommate get a better job, she has no idea that the owner and Santa there is a hot Scot. A hot Scot that she'll fall headlong for. Also a hot Scot, who unfortunately, is not in the US permanently. Can Ivy open up her life to Hugh, knowing there's every chance she'll get her heart crushed when he goes back to Scotland?

Only You is a sweet, sexy little holiday read. Hugh and Ivy are adorable together, and

Only You was a sweet contempoary romance with a dash of Christmas.

I really enjoyed Marie's writing and being in our protagonist Ivys head. Ivy was such a relatable character she was funny, and sweet and just Ivy. Only You deals with themes of friendship and being at a point in your life when friendships, relationships, life is at a point of change and I really related to it. The romance was sweet and real and I really enjoyed the slow burn and realistic pace of the relationship.

I highly recomme

>This book was super cute and fun to read. This book had me laughing alot and going what's next. Ivy is so fun loving and so easy going it was hard seeing her cousin take advantage of that but at the same time its good to see her get a back bone and finally stand up for herself and realize all the things she really wants not just float by. Y'all its fun seeing Ivy come out of her shell and its also fun seeing Hugh lets loose some also. This book was super sweet and fun.

I seriously loved every second of this amazing book. Ivy and Hugh were adorable from the very start. My love for these two characters knows no bounds. I loved watching them fall. And I loved that this wasn't your typical boss/employee book either.

I loved Hugh. He was smart, sophisticated, and compassionate. Not your typical boss book boyfriend at all. I think that was so refreshing for me. And Ivy, she kept me laughing. I love a book like this. Th

I really enjoyed this book. This was my first book by Marie Landry that I've read and I can't wait to read more.

Ivy is a woman who is dealing with a lot. She has a roommate that she can't really stand, and she has a full-time job that she's not really in love with anymore. Her roommate kinda tricks her into getting this part-time job at a Christmas Village, and she does it willingly more or less because she thinks it will help get her roommate out on her own quicker. Here is where she meets Hugh

This is a well written book with likable and realistic characters in Ivy and Hugh. Their chemistry is off the charts hot and it was fun to watch their relationship evolve and grow. The supporting characters help to bring the story to life. The author brings drama,a bit of mystery and tons of humor and love in this sweet story and I enjoyed reading.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.

The brilliant thing with this story is the normalcy of it. No over the top characters, no crazy impossible situation. Ok it’s a little bit on the naive side but, it still a pleasure to read it

What an enjoyable book! Hugh and Ivy were such likeable characters. I would love to be friends with them. The Christmas Village setting make it a wonderful and festive read leading up to the holiday season. Read it curled up under a blanket with some hot chocolate and you've got the perfect afternoon.

It's a very sweet romance but just a heads up that things do get steamy. Bow-chicka-bow-wow. ;-)
