This book was my least favorite from this series!

I was so excited to read about Kai and it wasn't what I wanted it to be! Kai wasn't the badass hero Jessica usually writes about! He was a lost puppy running around Jules and what made her happy! For the most part of the book he was trying to help her, nothing happened!

Jules was oblivious for the most part having her lists and plans for the future and not seeing what was in front of her. She was my least favorite heroine! Too complicate
Ok before I start, I love Jessica's books and the writing was great. There was nothing wrong with it and I didn't have any issues with it. This book was just difficult for me to finish since, in all honesty, Jules does NOT deserve Kai. She's selfish and Kai was just so sweet and kind ):< He deserves someone who would give him the world.

That being said, wish there were more guys like Kai in the world ;D A girl can dream

Recommends it for: EVERYBODY!!!

I finally got Kai's story and I sat down and devoured this baby in one sitting. I'm so freaking in love with Kai. He is the very sweetest of all of JG's characters, and he was adorable. This was a long slow burn, with a bit of angst between these two, before they finally came together. When they finally allowed themselves to come together as a couple, it was lovely. Jules had some shit she needed to deal with before she was able to see Kai for more than just a close friend. Kai w
There is nothing more heart-melting than a tough guy who isn’t afraid to show his feelings. There is nothing better than another Jessica Gadziala read that once again, throws her fans a curveball as she takes us back to Navesink Bank where life is edgy at the best of times and downright deadly other times.

THE MESSENGER was a surprise read for me as Kai, one of the Fixers spends months wearing his heart on his sleeve for Jules. She was the glue that holds the office together, barely giving him th

Where to even begin?.

Firstly I have to give Jessica props for not making the heroine out to be a heartless monster. I think going into this story many had their not so nice opinions regarding jules and her unbelievable insensitive obliviousness to everything Kai. Hell yes to you Jessica for pointing out the facts and making shit known instead of someone being the bady/heartbreaker.

I love me a good friends to lovers romance. I'd go as far as saying they are some of my favourite. See the thing is

This book has everything! Jules and Kai's story was not what I expected. Actually, most of Jessica's books do not go as expected.
Kai has loved Jules from the moment he met her. Jules, felt something for him, but tucked her feelings away because she worked with him and he didn't fit into the perfect box she had envisioned for her husband.
Fast forward to Jules's wedding day, her wedding to a man named Gary, that nobody liked. Kai, being the good man that he is, attends the wedding even though it

A heartwarming unconventional love story.. The world needs more men like Kai. So patient and understanding and never pushes. I foresaw lots of angst and heartache for Kai and now that we finally have his book that wasn't the case. Author did a perfect job with Kai and Jules story that been years in the making in the book world.

It was a little refreshing to have a hero not be a grunting alpha (not that I don't like my alpha men). Kai has always loved Jules and knew her inside and out and just wa

Like most JG fans, I'd been anticipating Kai and Jules's story for quite some time. It did not disappoint. In fact, Kai is one of my favorite JG heroes (and that's a competitive pool to choose from!) I loved Jules's mix of control freak and vulnerable hot mess. I love the way she has to learn to let others in and lean on them when needed and yet still not lose who she is or become co-dependent.

I love that Kai loved Jules so much, he was willing to do whatever made her happy, even if it meant le

Loved it! Loved everything about it! I’ve said it in all my reviews but this series is my Favorite by JG and I can’t help but want more! This story follows Kai and Jules, both of whom we have met in previous books in the series. If you’ve read the previous books Kai being hung up on Jules is a known thing and I was so interested to see how it all played out. And what Jules really knew. Kai was perfect. He was so nice and so kind and so so bad ass too. He was an alpha without all the alpha-asshol ...more

Lord, I've loved Kai since The Fixer. And I ached for him and his feelings for Jules. There were times I wanted to shake her for not /seeing/ him and how perfect he would be. This just cemented how they just belonged together. And helped me understand Jules and why she was so willfully blind and why Kai didn't push at all. Any reservations I had about her are gone, because I hadn't really LIKED her before and had wanted Kai to find someone better, but now I get it and get her

I bloody love this author and have read almost all the different books she’s ever released....and definitely every one within the ‘Navesink Bank’ universe....but this one is the first I really struggled with.
If it wasn’t for the fact I’ve read many of her books and that they’re usually 5 star reads for me....I’d have DNF’d it.
I struggled reading it....the ONLY saving grace is Kai.
Loved his character!!
Jules however.....
It really puts me off a book when I dislike a main character as much as I

❤ A new favorite by Jessica! I’ve waited for Kai and Jules. I really enjoyed this story. Kai’s been in love with Jules since the moment he saw her. Jules can’t see past her lists for a perfect man, perfect life someone who check all her boxes. Then her whole world turns on its axis, and it’s Kai to the rescue expecting nothing in return. I’ve wanted for Jules to get out of her head and see just what an amazing guy Kai is. I was not disappointed.❤

5 The Messenger Stars

The Messenger is the third instalment in the Jessica Gadziala's Professionals Series. This Series is one of my favourite by Jessica and I have to say it’s vastly becoming my favourite. The Messenger is Jules and Kai's Story. They couldn't be any more different if they tried, so their unlikely story is all the more intriguing. I'm generally not too fond of flash blacks, but I couldn't help but love they little snippets of their past. It told the story just as much.

The Messenger is Kai and Jules’ story and more of a slow burn than the majority of other books I’ve read by this author.

Kai is absolute perfection in a man. He’s not only loving, protective and considerate, but he’s just an overall wonderful man. How Jules didn’t allow her brain to see all of this the moment she first met him is still hard for me to understand. Jules is another great character with her lists and compulsions. She was blindsided and it was Kai who was there, who was always there

I absolutely love this book. It's really unbelievable easy to be addicted to Jessicas books.
Messenger is a very sweet and emotional love story ❤.
The sweet and dreamy Kai and the organized and controlled Jules are a couple that can't be more different at first sight.
In the so very slow burn romance, we witness a heartbreak 💔, breakdown 😭, betrayal, abuse and
in the end of course the true love 💖. A book about different people with all kind of addictions and flaws and the ways to accept that and be

Kai and Jules Forever

I have been looking forward to Kai and Jules’ story since I first met them in The Fixer, but what Jessica gave me was more than I could have imagined. This book felt like one of the most true to life books in terms of their relationship. I loved them as a couple, just like I knew I would. Kai is the type of man so many of us dream about. I think I need to work on inventing a way to bring these book boyfriends to life, especially Kai. He will go down as one of my top 5 book

Good, but the flashbacks kinda ruined it for me. I'd be cruising along, just getting into the story and come to a screeching halt at a flashback. Way too many of them, and I honestly feel like it made it harder for me to connect with the characters.

I loved Kia, but I didn't really care for Jules. I guess in my mind I had a different outlook on who Kia would end up with so that sort of ruined me going in. I hate it when I do that. Ms. Gadziala is a wonderful writer and her characters always seem to suck you in no matter what. I am thankful for that type of writing because I was still able to truly enjoy reading this story and visualize these two together at the end.

Be still my heart.

If you’ve been to a wedding in the last....ohhh two decades (swear to God the badly spiked hair brought forth immortality because they just keep making new music) Rascal Flatts will have inevitably played during the couples first dance. “God Bless The Broken Road”. My thoughts? Not every couple has a years long journey to get where they are, but sure, it’s sentiment is the right feel for a first dance.

I'm happy for Kai to finally get his HEA. He have been a side character in the first two books but his love for Jules have never been a secret. And damn this was intense and yes, it was a good book. But at the same time, I'm little disappointed. I expected Jules to be this bad ass, strong woman, who just had no idea that Kai had a thing for her. Then it turns out she had known all the time, misinterpret (maybe) her own feelings and never acted on it. Kind of me

Kai and Jules💞

This story was absolutely beautiful. I am a huge fan of the slow burn and Jessica delivered it beautifully. Jules really had to experience some not so pleasant life experiences to really see that the man for her would not fit in a perfect little box or check all the boxes on her list. Kai being a selfless all around good guy knew the feelings that he felt for Jules were not the same in return. He dreamed a beautiful dream of them. In the end the reality of Kai and Jules being a us

“Now you’re being ridiculous. Of course love is a choice.”

“Being in a relationship with someone is a choice. Loving them isn’t. There are plenty of people divorced today who still love one another. And there are a bunch of people out there who love someone with everything they have, but choose not to be with them because they’re addicts or they’re unreliable, or they cheated. The choosing to be with someone or not part, that is a choice. But who you end up falling for, that is completely out of your control.”
