Nimue’s Gift
Deborah Cooke
Dragons of Incendium #10
Deborah Cooke’s latest short story in her Dragons of Incendium series isn’t a romance but a celebration of the birth of three baby dragons and a precursor to future tales and also ingeniously connects her Pyr male dragon shifters of the Dragonfire series with the Princess dragon shifters from Incendium. Fans of both series will be stomping at the bit for more connections and fans of one or the other series get a fantastic look inside both worlds. ...more

Nimue’s Gift by Deborah Cooke is a short story that seems to create a bridge between the newer Dragons of Incendium Series and the wonderful older Dragonfire Series. What a grand idea that is. This short story deals with three new grandbabies of the King and Queen of Incendium. Their parent each had their own story earlier in the series. As you can imagine the royal births cause quite a stir, with a much anticipation and celebration.

Wow what a packed 44 pages! It was definitely more than one gift! She showered gifts all over the assembled attendees of the Naming Ceremony on Incendium! I adored this story and love the world she's created. I so wish I have read the Dragonfire series that's now merging with this one (not a big surprise). There are pieces of future stories scattered all through this book and set the action for the series'. A truly well crafted book!

In this intriguing short story that is part of The Dragons of Incendium series, King Ouros and Queen Ignita are celebrating the births of three grandchildren. One of the many guests brings unusual and unexpected gifts to bestow on the family. This well written story bridges this series with Ms. Cooke's Dragonfire series. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story takes us. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments he

Two chapters overflowing with so much change, foreshadowing of events to come, hints of the Pyr coming to join the Incendium dragons, and just so much more! This is one of the few novella’s in this series that definitely had to happen as a stand alone story. Being it is so short, the review will also be short because I am not going to give anything away; but know this, the Incendium series is about to get even more intense!

This was a great installment in the Dragons of Incendium series. King Ouros and Queen Ignita are having a celebration in honor of the births of their grandchildren from three of their daughters. Visitors come from far and wide to take part. An unexpected guest brings twists that no one is expecting. I enjoyed this story very much and look forward to reading the next book in the series.
